really enjoyed this what a day man im so happy for what it is not even the big fuel and timing and she does real good i know on the streering gear theres a nut you can losen the steering just a very little shes scary touchy at 90 beautiful shes in good hands and freshened up for some fun they dont have cool cars on the roads anymore made me smile when you got the wave i get that bt alot around here its got a nice turbo cummins but has a trans swap waiting for more gump haha keep em comin dont get that sherifs panties in a bunch -charlie
It should have a quadrajet on it with the choke hooked up it is what they came with frim the factory youll get the best milage and performance from it when its dialed in right believe it and it does sound retarded which is fine break it in to 500 miles change the oil and then youll know the cam will live and advance the timing dont even stress base timing you want totsl timing as fast as you can get it to come in with out pinging 34 degrees total at 3000 if you have good gas in it 93 octane or so base timing means nothing it might be 20 if it starts good and sounds happy its it total timing is whst you shoot for for mileage and performance youll end up turning the idle down a lot when you get the timing right they used to say break it in like your gonna drive it build it right and wind it tight is it a 400 or a 455
