Sorry for the music early on - I had to overlay it to eliminate a copyright claim due to the house music playing. I filmed this in 4K in case you want to pause and get a closer look at things. Didn't have a ton of time to zoom in on every little thing since I had an appointment to get to, but there is a lot there to check out if you are ever in the area.
Man...we need more shops like this in my area. Trains plus diecast...you can't go wrong. The Army K-Line aluminum car caught my eye...I may give them a call. Plus the lava lamps...😆... I was a teenager in the '60s and remember them quite well. Great memories...great shop. Thanks Steve ! ✌️
The K-Line stuff is definitely under rated. Wish they were still around but they got caught with their hand in the corporate espionage cookie jar, lol.
OUTSTANDING VIDEO! I live down near Kings Island so I need to take a trip up and see Robbie. Thank You Very Much. Because of you I now know about Robbie’s!
I'm so glad this video turned up in my feed! I'm really interested in thinning my herd of model kits and Hot Wheels and some !/18 th scale cars. I only live about a half hour away and never knew this place existed!
Ive stopped there a few times when going to play it nearby. My first trip I ended up finding a bunch of bulk lego in zip lock bags, Some of the pieces i had never seen before so i ended up buying all of it and after getting home and washing it and some research, a bunch of what I got was from the 60s (some was newer).
Not a ton of HO at Robbie’s, but right around the corner is The Train Station. A lot of HO locos there. I did a video about 6 months ago on that place. Cheers.
@andrewwhite2863 cool. They’re about 5 minutes apart. Also check out the Smoke Stack in Lancaster if you’ll be passing thru. They are selling off an incredible HO estate.
@@TheLEMRR That might be. When MTH had starting to fade, he stopped carrying them. He just sells used stuff from the large lots he buys now I think. Most of his Lionel stuff is new though.
You and I both love those aluminum AC&F centerflow hoppers, but you missed one in the group of $40 cars on the shelf near where you found the Berwick car. If you pause the video at 5:22, then you will see the Diamond Chemical Aluminum 4-bay hopper by Lionel. I have one of these and they are gorgeous. It's a steal at that price. Thanks for sharing. Wish I was closer to this store. Lots of crazy deals there.
Good catch. I have three of those Lionel units. I was in such a hurry I didn’t even see it. I’m going to swing back through there today if I get a chance to snag that one!

@@TapeCity cool! It’s getting to be about time for me to stop in again
Ha in Columbus on vacation made a stop at The Train Depot. Looks like I should stop at this one.
You never know what will be on Robbie's shelves. I need to get back there soon to see what's new as well! Enjoy your stay!
Great place Steve.
it's off the beaten path
I was planning on making a trip to Columbus soon for some HO locomotives. I might check them out when I go.

Great deal on that Atlas Berwick!
Definitely was good timing!
No pre - war Lionel standard gauge ? Guess it’s never anywhere to be found .
Hasn't been common for me to see those items at the hobby stores I visit
Hello👋 from Oklahoma
Good morning!
Most of my collection came from there over the years since he opened. He used to have a huge amount of MTH.
Interesting. My understanding is that Robbie had some sort of a falling out with MTH so prefers to sell Lionel mainly these days

I am always looking for Ohio Central stuff. I need more cars. I did buy a pair of engines from there last month.
I have a couple MTH OC Geeps - I'm less particular about what gets pulled behind the locos, lol

If you're ever in Saint Louis Missouri I highly recommend you check out Rodney's toys and trains
Will definitely keep that in my pocket in case I'm ever in the Gateway City. Thx for recommending!
