You are so right, 2022 was a horrible year. My son was murdered, 3 weeks later my youngest granddaughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. 6 weeks after my granddaughter was disgnosed, my daughter in law lost her mother suddenly and 4 weeks after that another family member was diagnosed with cancer. I’m ready for a better year.
It's great that you've seen Summer's videos and chose a different route. This place is so magical, I love to check it out every now and then. And since you both have adequate 4K camera's with nice 10bit colours, we can see all the beauty 😁 2022 was also a bad year for me, as was 2023, but it's looking up for next year so I am focussing on that. Due to medical reasons I have been home a lot for nearly a year now and that it'll still take a while, but I discovered plants and through that content creators like you. Especially videos like this help me through the day, lower my anxiety and inspire me to learn more about plants. Summer, Irene and you are my favourite 3! 😁 So thank you for taking us along Sean!
Hello Sean! Thank you for the lovely tour, I hope it was as relaxing for you. The downside though, I was just going to watch this video along with A cup of coffee and now I'm making another one to watch one of your videos (again) ❤
What a beautiful tour 😍. Love the natural sounds of nature, especially the water fall. This would make a lovely meditation background video. Thank you for the moment of silence!
Thank you for showcasing this. I love ferns. I happen to have difficulty growing it. I recall my mom mentioned to me that it only grows well where the air is pure and unpolluted.
I have been to that beautiful garden. I was surprised by all the greenhouses. I can see why the arid zone plants might need protection from the rain, but it seems a lot of the tropicals would be fine outdoors. Maybe the greenhouses make it easier for people to visit there in any weather?
@onlyplants I just realized my comment was a bit confusing. Jaha3 I meant (1) Summer did a great video, and (2) your video made me feel like I was walking along with you guys...
7:10 I think this is Cheilocostus/Costus Speciosus Variegata. Could also be Costus Arabicus Variegata, of which I have one. But mine is still young and I don't exactly now what differs between them (I liked both, simply found the Arabicus first and bought that). It's one of favourites because of it's growth pattern! Hope to see it bloom next year :) It's in my living room because it can only be outside in the summer here. I haven't seen it in other peoples collection yet irl or on RUclips (only non variegated), but it's not hard to buy or expensive (I bought mine for €15 or €20) so I guess not many people can appreciate it?
@@onlyplants My favourite loving ever plants are ferns. 💕 I have many types of ferns collection. but Srilanka my living area hot climate is not good for my ferns. . I'm hopefully your next video is take me to fern paradise. .. tnx 💚 💚 💚 💚

I would have really appreciate it if you have focus on plant id tags after showing each one, anyway as always love your garden tours.. Thank you Sean💖
Only 10% of them had ID tags 🥹 I actually was hunting down the tags so I can commit these babies into my memory
Amazing 🍃🤗

I just googled it… urgh… now I want it more and more haha. Costus can be propagated very easily actually. Offsets or stem cuttings
@@onlyplants yes I know, literally more plants on my wishlist than I have in my living room 🤣
15:25 Trevesias are stunning...also stunningly difficult to propagate and relocate lol, haven't heard a single success story so far😅😅😅
Ooh I found one in a pot from a plant I bought… it turned into a huge tree in 2 years
I m crazy about lot of ferns
💚💚💚💚
Me too. Theres some insane ones in next episode where we have a guided tour at the garden. Apparently fern was food for dinosaurs!

7:06 is Costus Arabicus - Variegated Spiral Ginger
Nice 👍🏻
Feels weird without your voice 😂. Feels like something amiss 😅
Haha could you feel the sense of wonder and excitement though? If you did then I would have succeeded in this experiment lol.
@@onlyplants I felt lost without your voice 😂
Anyone have any idea what the plant is at the 5:00 minute marker? Thanks, Kevin
1:39 is a species of Biophytum
Thanks for the name. Im on a hunt for it online now 🥰
@12:12 you see some kind of sage, I believe. My plant application says Mexican Bush Sage.
Its possible. 😀
Does anyone know the name of the ferns he holding at 2:47 and the one right behind of it? Thanks so much
Following up on this
👌
Thank you 🙌🏽
Damn nature ! You're so beautiful !!.....😁
🥰🥰
What a gorgeous garden
I thought you wear giant diapers in 1:47 😭😅
😅😅
Thanks for this but please let us have the names of the plants if possible
Unfortunately I dont have most of the names 😅 they were not labelled. Those that I know had the names on the screen.
What a pitty there is pianomusic playing, I’d rather enjoy the plants and nature sounds “in silence”.
Haha yes 😅
