Day of the Dead is by far my favorite film, a close second with Dawn of the Dead. The story, effects, acting, music, and Bub were just amazing. Also the Divimax edition DVD has great bonus features.

Return of the living dead is absolutely my favourite zombie movie, the humour is just great, laugh out loud zombie comedy.

I love zombie movies. Great list but I think 28 days later, 28 weeks later and Shaun of the Dead should be in the list. Also, Zombieland is an awesome movie, everyone should check it out.
I really liked all the dead movies by george romero and I like the talking in the last 30 sec. of ur vid about the remakes!

I think people also forget that "I Am Legend" was originally a book by Richard Matheson. And I thought "The Last Man on Earth" was paced too slowly.

Whoa, you sure know what you're talking about! I have the same fave as yours..The Return of the Living Dead is AMAAAAZING. It's so genius...and yes, so VERY 80's! :D Shaun of the Dead is great, but ROTLD has got to be the best and most original zombie "parody" to date. You gotta admit, Tar-Man rocks!

'Rec' is a good zombie film, it's spanish but has subtitles, it's really good... there's an American remake called Quarantine which is... pretty much identical to it, I was quite glad that they didn't change it that much, but then again it makes me wonder why a remake was made in the first place.
Do you guys prefer your zombie movie concentrating on a lot of gore, or do you like your zombie movies concentrating on how people are coping with the outbreak?

Another great list! There is one zombie movie that you did not have in here that i loved - Dead Alive. I think it was voted as the bloodiest movie ever made and was directed by Guillermo del toro

I enjoy watching your little video shows, for zombies I like some of the ones you've mentioned, but check out the new zombie film, Fido, Resident Evil (the first one) was pretty decent, check out Tokyo Zombie, and Re-Animator (sort of a zombie film).

hello coolduder nice film collection the one film i recon u shouuld see is DEAD SNOW if u havent see it it's only just came out and is about nanzi zombies that were frozen in the snow sudenly come alive and so on. ha but its a must see keep up the good work(Y)

Have you heard of Dead Set? its a recent British Zombie movie from the perspective of a group of contestants in a 'Big Brother' type reality show, their realisation that they have been cut off from the outside world and what happens when the outside 'UNDEAD' get inside.. not a good description granted but worth a look. Shown recently on British TV Channel 4 but available on DVD over here.

I want to get Return of the Living Dead really badly, but over here they only sell part 2 and part 4 is being released soon - How does that make sense?! We don't even sell part 1 or 3...I might just buy the region 1 copy. Haha.
My favorite zombie movies are probably Reanimator, Evil Dead II and Deadalive. I haven't seen Bride of Reanimator but I hear it's good...also City of the Living Dead is cool, it's more supernatural, though.
i like nigt of the living dead the 80's one and the shawn of the dead that was made it 2004 great but the. the one i love the most is were these kids have to fight off zombies in a city called necropils return of the living dead

i was wondering if you have seen any of the return of the living dead sequels i think theres 4 or 5 of them. i love the first one so i wanted to know if any of the others are worth checking out. also i was looking into buying Zombie/ Zombi 2 movie but i heard not to buy the Zombie movie like you have in your video but to by the Zombi 2 version so i was wondering if you knew the difference and if you know anything about Zombi 3 and if thats good. love your videos and keep up the good work.

I would suggest Cemetery Man, The Serpent and the Rainbow, the Beyond, Night of the Creeps, Dead & Buried, Revenge of the Dead (Zeder), Rabid, and Night of the Comet as some of the many classic Zombie films not mentioned. Or just Google: zombies, zombies, zombies 300 films. My IMDB list of the greatest Zombie films of all time.
^_^ The movie ZOMBIE is from Italy, in Europe DAWN OF THE DEAD was called ZOMBIE and this movie was called ZOMBIE 2. Well that what many of people had heard.

There not Zombies... Zombie means reanimate or from dead to life, They dont die, They just become rabid with rage, But I see what you mean, Amazing film!
Planet terror is my personal favorite/best Zombie film.
I absolutely love zombie movies. You made me laugh when you tried to pronounce Anthropophagous aka The Grim Reaper. That film probably had one of the most outrageous scenes in horror film history. Remember when he attacks the pregnant lady?

Ah I remember Video Dead, quite good at the time though I get the stories mixed up with 'ScreamTime'.
My faves are Zombie and The Beyond even City Of The Living Dead (who many don't rate). They scared me though lol

@TheRobertbonner89 totally agree even though if i had to choose i would take Day of the dead over dawn i can't help it that one just appeals to me more with the whole underground facility and the army characters like Steele and Rickels! but totally agree my friend so glad to see someone else feels the same way.

yea degeneration is a little different, its animated but its got some characters from the resident evil games in it (Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield).
