I had to do a double take because I thought that someone was impersonating you. Great video. I grab a lot of my inspiration from your videos. So motivational
i know Im asking randomly but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
Great Dvd Collection Vid! 'Artificial Intelligence: A.I.' tore me up. The original 'The Time Machine' was amazing, I've not seen the new one though. 'Starship Troopers' and 'Total Recall' both freaked the hell out of me when I was younger.
nice job on your movies. I think I will make some video responses to your videos. I love listening to people who have a good head on their shoulders about movies. you do a good job nailing the good movies, bad movies and great movies. I grew up during most the movies original releases, so i've watched a ton of movies. a lot of bad ones, but also a bunch of good ones. Keep on truckin.
Don't forget, Flight of the Navigator and Masters of the Universe for the 80s sci-fi that would definitely go in your little favorites collection, I feel. I also have expanded my horizons lately and have started looking into 50s, 60s, and 70s horror and sci-fi, and it's amazing. The Day the Year Stood Still, Thing from Another World, House on Haunted Hill.
The total recall tin is really cool, Night of the Comet was a movie I saw one friday night during the witching hours - It was a surprisingly good movie, even Robert Beltran is good in it.
@strategery101 He's the guy reading off the music notes at the end. If you go to bluray.com, and he's in the third shot down under screenshots for close encounters. he's the balding guy in the blue shirt with the headphones on. His name is Bob Sanford.
hey, im sure you may already know this but 12 Monkeys is based on a french short film called La Jetée, it's on you tube and it's really worth watching. it's made up of a montage of photos but there is one brief scene of motion. i'm not sure if it's also a homage but it is also reminiscent of the smashing pumpkins video for thirty three. keep making the videos, after seeing your total recall box set how about a video on strange dvd packaging and weird merchandise you have?
I enjoyed the DVD SF films show, but you overlooked quite a few good ones, some others have already mentioned: Dune, Planet of the Apes I & II, Westworld, Solent Green, Bladerunner, Barbarella, Forbidden Planet, Fantastic Voyage, The Blob & remake too. Golly a lot others...
I love them both. The problem was I watched the final cut first, and the original seems so different. Still an excellent film, one of the best I've seen.
The 80's were the best time for scifi films even though I entered the world in 1989. E.T., Blade Runner, Back to the Future, Return of the Jedi, The Abyss, The Terminator, Flight of the Navigator, etc.
There's a really good film that you've probably never heard of before, that really needs to be on every sci-fi films list because it's really great. It's called Contact, and it's basically a very slow moving, gripping story of what would realistically happen when earth makes contact with life in space. Check it out, I love it.
The "Stock" scream I believe you are talking about is called a Wilhelm Scream. RUclips it for a compilation, there is also a band by the same name though. Total Recall is on HD-DVD also, I know because I own it.
Do you have Killer Klowns from Outer Space coolduder? that's a great film as Escape from New York came out in 1981, so it wasn't the 70s to correct you.
hey bud i like the chan because you keep it simple dont go stupid and add a 4 person chat on there favs just give the view you have dont always agree but have watched and enjoyed some movies you mentioned wish you would look towards some moders there are some greats like moon and so
Thank God Spielberg put the original ET on blu-ray. I just bought the blu-ray which includes a dvd, digital copy which I used to download a copy to my computer, and ultraviolet. I have the ultimate gift set which includes the senitype, the soundtrack, a lot of bonus features and a collectible book. I also have this edition on dvd and the single disc 2002 version. And lastly I have the VHS. I have an ET shirt and I have the ET novelization book written by William Kotzwinkle. I am an ET fan.
ahh, all of them are great. but i suppose, you start with watching westworld from michael crichton (not based on a novel), my favourite of those three films. soylent green is also a masterpiece from richard fleischer, with some great acting and set-design, also it is the most authentic one. sylent running also features great sets and cinematography by douglas trumbull. he also was the setdesigner of "close encounters" and "blade runner".
hey there is a movie considered sci fi, not mad max or road warrior but on same line, only way i can describe i seen it when i was younger its 80's, where these guys all fighting, then the head guy comes in they all fight him and he beats them up and then they join up with him to get his girl back from evil guys, only funny thing i remember is some fat lady during fight scenes chowing down eat a big turkey. kind of weird but something i saw, would you know this movie ?
hey coolduder you should get alien-predator ultimate destruction collection at best buy for 54.99. it comes with every alien and predator movie avp and avpr. i was gonna get it but i didnt have enough money. But keep your alien quadrilogy because it has both cuts of each film and the extra bonus features
in a different video you were quoted as saying the picture on omega man was too grainy and you didnt like alien 4, but here you say the picture on omega man is great and you liked alien 4...hmm a little contradicting dont you think?
My favorite sci-fi films are: Blade Runner 2001: A Space Odyssey The 2009 Star Trek The Original Star Wars Films Terminator 1, 2, and 4 Alien and Aliens
Some you should check out if you've not caught them: They Live THX-1138 Logan's Run Children of Men and... The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
do you have an 80s top sci fi movies. I love 80s sci fi movies that are located in futuristic big cities. i actually like any 80s movie with a futuristic big city setting action or sci fi. Can anyone tell me some good movies with that type of setting to it.
im trying to find a sci fi movie but i cant remember the name. if anyone knows what movie im talking about please tell me. its about a crew who goes to mars i think. and they have a robot with them that malfuncsions and tries to kill them.
the original Planet of the Apes (1968) is the best scifi film :) Capicorn One is a cool sci fi film thats different with us faking going to mars... outside of the spaceship kinda sci fi, check out that one.
Dude! The Ewok films were amazing!!!! Did you ever see the cartoon series of the Ewoks? Great list mate! If you would ever like to do a British / USA collab let me know as I think we're on the same wavelength 😄 private message me if you're interested and we can talk ideas 😃

nice job on your movies. I think I will make some video responses to your videos. I love listening to people who have a good head on their shoulders about movies. you do a good job nailing the good movies, bad movies and great movies. “HEY, GUYS!!!”
i LOVED starship troopers!
I have the ET 2 disc set as well and I don't think there is a sleeve for it because it just opens up. I bought it on amazon though.
Don't forget, Flight of the Navigator and Masters of the Universe for the 80s sci-fi that would definitely go in your little favorites collection, I feel. Event Horizon rules! Sam Neill is so freaking creepy in that movie. I love it!
@strategery101

oooohhh right in there at the end! Escape From New York and Escape From LA FTW!
i used to watch explorers with river phoneix all the time one of my all time favorites !
hey, im sure you may already know this but 12 Monkeys is based on a french short film called La Jetée, it's on you tube and it's really worth watching. it's made up of a montage of photos but there is one brief scene of motion. i'm not sure if it's also a homage but it is also reminiscent of the smashing pumpkins video for thirty three. keep making the videos, after seeing your total recall box set how about a video on strange dvd packaging and weird merchandise you have?
starship troopers is amazing, i was 8 y/o when i first saw it, so you can imagine i was blown away, and as you say, the setting is awesome
is the explorers dvd was have the 2 deleted scenes?
total recall is on blu-ray and it's on sale at amazon, for like $13.95
I enjoyed the DVD SF films show, but you overlooked quite a few good ones, some others have already mentioned: Dune, Planet of the Apes I & II, Westworld, Solent Green, Bladerunner, Barbarella, Forbidden Planet, Fantastic Voyage, The Blob & remake too. Golly a lot others...
Your dvd collection is amazing, but have you put the rocky horror picture show in your collection........its such a good film.
I love them both. The problem was I watched the final cut first, and the original seems so different. Still an excellent film, one of the best I've seen.

Man, I rented the second Ewoks movie SO MUCH. I probably bought it several times over!
gotta say you missed alot of great ones like Serenity,The Fifth Element but you totally got points back for having Event Horizon on you list
The "Stock" scream I believe you are talking about is called a Wilhelm Scream. RUclips it for a compilation, there is also a band by the same name though.
Total Recall is on HD-DVD also, I know because I own it.
You have great taste in science fiction films I'm also a movie buff myself! Keep on Collecting, dude don't ever let anyone stand in your way! :-)
Do you have Killer Klowns from Outer Space coolduder? that's a great film as Escape from New York came out in 1981, so it wasn't the 70s to correct you.
I agree with you on Event Horizon, that film was way underrated. Its plot is closer to Doom than the Doom movie itself. :p
I loved the time machine. great movie :) the explorers was one of my favourites as a kid too
The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the 70's one) it's really the best by far !
I don't know if these would make science fiction or not, but I loved these movies "The cat from outer space" and "My stepmother is an alien"
hey bud i like the chan because you keep it simple dont go stupid and add a 4 person chat on there favs just give the view you have dont always agree but have watched and enjoyed some movies you mentioned wish you would look towards some moders there are some greats like moon and so

Dude! The Ewok films were amazing!!!! Did you ever see the cartoon series of the Ewoks?
Great list mate! If you would ever like to do a British / USA collab let me know as I think we're on the same wavelength 😄 private message me if you're interested and we can talk ideas 😃
AI is an awesome movie, i totally agree it was underrated, but people don't like sad endings. BUT, they could continue it maybe.
