I'm so glad that you primarily focused on lesser-known horror movies of the 70's. This is my favorite decade for horror and there were a billion-million ovies that came out that didn't get the respect or recognition that they deserved. Like DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW was so great!I haven't seen a few that you mentioned, so I went out and picked them up.
I found a DVD of Bad Ronald for $12 bucks on Amazon and am looking forward to watching it.

You really have a talent for this! I grew up watching all of these originals (70's) and you are absolutely right! The originals are ALWAYS the best. You should do this as a career. You are wise enough to see through all the money and glitter to what is truly good. I remember as a girl "bad ronald" really freaked me out. I forgot all about but recently remembered it and began looking for it. It's really cool that you actually did a review on it.

Loved practically everything on your list, except for several I haven't seen. Let's Scare Jessica to Death is my favorite, with Don't be Afraid of the Dark right behind. Bad Ronald, Dark Night of the Scarecrow, The Changeling, Suspiria, and another drive-in flick, Legend of Boggy Creek. Many of your movies are undiscovered gems that should be seen and revisited. Oh and I'm fixing to revisit Tourist Trap.

Thank you, thank you!!!! I've been trying to figure out the name of that made-for-tv movie "Bad Ronald" for years now. I remember watching that in the '70s as a young teen. It was so strange. It was so typical of those weird afterschool tv '70s movies. Another good one (non-horror) was "Go Ask Alice" about the drug epidemic in the '70s.

@berner The movie is called Blood Beach from 1980. One of the taglines for the movie was "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water....you can't get to it!" and "The five people believed to have drowned here never even made it past the sand!" There was some kind of creature under the sand.
