Should You Be 100% Ready For A Baby Before Your Start Trying?

Today we’re going to be talking about the phenomena of baby readiness.
Are you ready to have a baby, or do you keep delaying it, or should you wait to be ready before you try to conceive? Everybody is different and everybody’s circumstances are different, and some of the women I see in the clinic do unfortunately end up regretting the path that they took.
Today many women wait to have their perfect career, partner etc. and it doesn’t always follow in the order that you expect it to.
The biggest thing I want to get across today is the delays to fertility. On average it can take 8-12 months to conceive, so a lot of my time is spent managing the expectations of a woman on how long it might take, because many expect it to happen sooner.

I’m not sure I’m ready. I’m 30 and I’m so nervous that I can’t handle everything and money etc. I have a job and my husband and I also run a remodeling business which is doing well and we started a year ago. He is 48. I just feel so scared but I do want to do it.

Hi all! I’m 26 and finally feel like I’m coming around to the idea of having a baby. I’d actually be excited if I found out I was pregnant. I am not currently TTC, but I am married and would be open to it in the future. Hopefully that’s all a good sign! :)
