I'll sum it up for you, Joakim Noah was an energy, effort guy without a lot of offensive ability. Once he started aging and the injuries piled up, he couldn't rely on his athleticism anymore and his effectiveness was greatly diminished.

He was a competitor. His injuries caught up and I remember him sueing his shoe sponsor because they sucked and he said it worsened his injury.
The bulls could have been a force to be reckoned with but when they finally put the kind of talent around rose in order to make a deep playoff push, rose got injured. They had the supporting cast at that point but without rose they didn't have enough firepower to beat out the better teams in the east.

Wow. I didn’t know about the drama with JB but I’m not surprised. I actually think Butler wanted all those guys from the Derrick Rose days gone. He was just a role player when he got to the Bulls and it too him about three years but it was clear he was becoming a star. Jimmy wanted the team to be his now that he had ascended and he didn’t want any of those old core guys from the playoff teams around anymore. Great video.
