Plus 4 means, you count those 4 chains as you first double crochet, so in total you have 45 stitches.🐝🐝🐝

Is it + 4 every 40 stitches, or just once?

I love this pattern and want to do it into a dress. How do i increase and decrease the width to create a dress silhouette?

I believe it will be a challenge to incorporate decreases and increases in the same project, but not impossible! Creating a chevron pattern with shell stitches will add to the complexity. I will need to try multiple times to see how it might work! Are you considering making a dress in the round or flat?

This is an old video of mine, when I didn't know too much how to make a proper quality video. I am planning to remake the old videos, but it will take some time. Thank you for your feedback!

I love this stitch,..so pretty…BUT I am so frustrated as !…other than the cover picture, we don’t see the work laiyed out flat to se the pattern. The work hangs from your hands…I I don’t understand how the “valley” works,..?the peak was clear,…I have done a lot of ripples, so I thought I could figure it out, but I am not getting it,…because the first row of your work is a dark color, I can’t see it well enough…..I applaud your lovely pattern, but could you possibly provide a quick written description of just the valley?…like 3 shells down the hill THEN …what?at that point you say something about 4 shells…4?…I thought it was 3 up, 3 down…please forgive me if I sound rude,..but have search this pattern, and it seems upyou are the girl!..so..I am asking..what happens after 3 down!..
