Save your money. Mine broke after a month and waiting almost another month for support to take care of the problem. Opened support ticket on Oct 27 and as of today have not heard from them at all for the last 7 days. Still not resolved.

I have the first generation one and it is wonderful. I've discovered so much art through this, and, I can upload the art that I do. I know it isn't for everybody, but if you love art... I think you'll love this.
Release in Australia already- the first one is riddled with third rate backlight bleeding and wifi incompatibility issues
are you ever going to make this device with a more photo-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio?
I wish we could see more about the swivel mount such as how far it hangs the canvas off the wall.

It’s a bs demo. You need to have an in wall plug installed for it to look anything like that demo.

The Meural can read 4k video files. While the Meural supports .avi, .mkv, .mp4 and .mov formats, smaller formats in H.264 and MPEG4 encoding such as .gif tend to run better. The time it takes to process a .gif depends on image dimensions and the number of frames.
The video file recommendations in rates and bit rates are:
15 frames per second (fps) with a bit rate of up to 10 Mbps.
The recommended number of frames per .gif file is:
For .gif files with dimensions around 1920 x 1080, fewer than 90 total frames.
For .gif files with smaller dimensions, fewer than 200 total frames.

It a beautiful art frame, but I hate their subscription. There is not enough art to warrant a subscription. Most of the art are from deceased artist from 1800 periods that are available online for free. And to top it all off, about half of their archives are for sale. You will be frustrated and feel like you don’t have a subscription at all. It’s basically like going to a buffet and paying the price for the buffet and you still need to pay for most of the food. A big FAIL. Their CEO needs to be replaced.
I have this product for more then three years and now I can't connect to it ether by app or PC. Netgear will no longer provide me with support. So now I have a useless picture frame on my wall. I used to love this frame now would not recommend it. Fix the connecting software. Or others like me will shop somewhere else.

Wife isn't happy at all about that bs purchase that never appreciates in value and the day Netgear decides (like now) it will be $0 and will take effort to dispose.

@Netgear I have solved the issue. The reset meural would not change networks with the android app. Maybe look into fixing your android app. It did go through the set up easily with the IOS app.
Amazing product completely let down by the need to have it plugged in to a power outlet. Who wants to see an ugly power cable hanging from their artwork? @Netgear - why would you not add a li-ion rechargeable battery to the back of it?
Because on a display this size it wouldn't last long at all. It would be just as inconvenient to have to charge it twice a day as to keep a cable plugged in all the time. And would increase the product's price.
Yeah, the power cord is an issue but you can get recessed power outlet boxes that sit inside the wall cavity so you can get an electrician to wire one in directly behind the frame and completely hide the cord. Unsure if the Meural II has a power pack or just a standard plug? Either way though you can hide both behind the frame if you get a recessed wall point installed. Agreed that a battery wouldnt last long at all.
