I agree 100%. I feel like we are being tricked into shaving off part of our hormonal system, to make our brains dysfunctional. Animals all use hair for navigation, etc. No wonder why modern humans feel lost.
My husband started growing a beard a few years ago, when our boys were very young. He shaved his beard off about a year ago, and our little kiddos wouldn't look at him. They started crying every time that he talked to them. After a week of stubble grew in, the kiddos thought that Daddy looked enough like himself, they could interact with him again. lol Beards *are* natural, and there is something so nice about nuzzle a sweet-smelling beard. It is far superior, when compared to being prickled by stubble.

They both braided my beard a couple of weeks ago, and it was great to have those nimble little fingers joining forces to make my beard "pretty"... You are giving your daughter the advantage of seeing biblical masculinity in its true form, and removing materialism and conformity as a standard. Great video brother!

I'm 36 and have never clean shaven my face fully. Granted, I experimented around, especially during my teens and early 20's, where I shaved the cheeks and neck but kept the goatee and mustache, though it's been about 15 years now that I haven't shaved any of it. I'd keep the beard short at times and trimmed the neck area down to stubble with electric clippers, but haven't used an actual razor in 15 years. I've always loved having a beard and felt like something is missing when I trimmed off too much of it. I made that mistake not long ago and literally felt embarrassed to go out for a week until the beard started to come in longer. There was a point where I had let it grow out for 5 years without trimming it down and it reached my waist at that time. The reason I trimmed it down then was.... *drumroll*... because I was single and felt it would make it easier to find the right woman. But even then, I left it at a 1-2 month length executive-style beard. I recently decided to try to regrow it long again. I'm about two months into regrowing it now and love how it's coming in longer already.

For me tho using a razor is too far because its will damage the skin and can cause rashes, itchiness and Ingrown hair. Plus trimming is going to be a lot quicker than shaving.

dude, your beard looks like it needs some grooming. try brushing it, conditioning it , shaping it somewhat. maybe people look at you weird because your face looks like a random hair explosion, not because you have a beard. my beard is as long as yours, and it never repels anyone. there are many good bearding channels on youtube that you need to learn from, you need it.
