And yet hazrat abdullah bin umar radi allaho anho use to keep it up to one fist length even though from the authentic ahadith it's evident that he used to follow the prophet Muhammad sallaho alaihe wassallam in the minutes of things... You know why because the authentic ahadiths says that the beard of the prophet sallaho alaihe wassallam was up to the "nehr" Which is the point of join of the neck with the collar bone area....

Abu Hurayrah ” reported that the ruler of Yemen,appointed by the Persian emperor Kisra, sent two envoys to the Messenger !. When they came into his presence, he noticed that they had shaved their beards and let their moustaches grow big. Hating their ugly appearance, he turned his face away and said,
“Woe be to you, who told you to do so?” They replied: “Our lord (Kisra) did!”
The Messenger ! responded: “But my Lord, exalted and glorified be He, has commanded me to spare my beard and trim my moustaches.” [Recorded by Ibn Jarir at-Tabari, Ibn Sa’d, and Ibn Bishran. Verified to be hasan (good) by al-Albani (Fiqh us-Sirah by al-Ghazali p. 359)]

The barakah will come from following the Prophet peace be upon him, even if it means not a single hair grows, or only one, or a full beard, as long as you're following his commands as much as possible and avoiding the prohibitions, inshaa'Allaah you'll have barakah in everything you do.

Just let your beard grow at its natural growth. As a male, if the natural growth of your beard is less than or equal to one fist when you grab your beard from its roots, then keep the entire beard and don't cut it anymore. And if the natural growth of your beard is more than one fist when you grab your beard from its roots, then you may cut the lower portion of your beard which makes your beard's length more than one fist. InshaAllah it would be enough for you. God knows the best.

Ibn Umar (ra) narrated the hadith about “grow the beard”, but he still chose to trim a fist length. In Islam the one who narrates the hadith understands it the best. Not the khalaf. Companions and salaf trimmed their beard. If you can find me someone from the salaf who forbid trimming the beard, then I will understand. This is the view of sheikh Albani.

Interesting. I've heard that once the beard reaches the one fist, then it's allowed to be trimmed. as in, not only during hajj, but also outside. So let's say you've been growing it five six years, and it's reached a fist, then you can start cutting anything over that. But Allah knows best

The beard is a natural beauty granted by Allah's abundant blessings on man, and it is a sign of masculinity. You can oil it, comb it, and make it look beautiful. The brothers should always remember; you're attracting the right women in your life (upon the sunnah) and avoiding the mushrikeen/ahlul bid'ah/people of desires/Hellfire. And Allah knows best.

He looks like Professor Dumbledore. You don’t dress or look like a Warrior when you’re not on the battlefield. That is against the Sunnah as an act and this beard he has is also against the Sunnah. The proof is in the Amal of the Scholars and the Saints who actually are upon the Sunnah with a golden chain. The fact that people are objecting is the proof something is wrong with it and him. This is wisdom of Deen. If you but know.

@@JesusChrist_313 perhaps our Prophet pbuh grew it longer also but the beard has to be beautifully groomed as it is an adornment from Allah like long hair is for women. Cannot grow it like a wild animal and call it Sunnah. Large numbers of Salafists have misunderstood the text and failed to groom their beards correctly and ended up making their beards look ugly and their faces look strange, in the name of Sunnah. They are so foolish and Allah has shown it in their appearance as well. The moment the beard starts looking strange or repulsive know you are no longer upon Sunnah because Sunnah can never be ugly.

But there are hadith to the effect that the Messenger alayhi al-salam took from the length and the width of the beard and that is narrated by al tirmidhi for example. Secondly, it is narrated that the Messenger's beard alayhi al-salam was a fistful, not longer. Thirdly, the Sahaba who narrated to let the beard grows were the exact Sahaba who trimmed it at the firstful, including Ibn Umar who was known to be firm on the sunnah. Surely, the Sahaba's own understanding must be taken and not a modern interpretation.
What is the Evidence for this empty claim of yours that messenger himself had fist length? It seems like you have hidden knowledge no one else has. So we much distinguish ourselves from the disbelievers.
The Islamic appearance was better known by the prophet and the sahaba than a modern understanding. Shaykh al-albani too insisted that the sunnah beard is the firstful.

It is weak but a weak hadith is stronger than no hadith (which is your position of not cutting the beard). Moreover, the weak hadith is strengthened by the practice of the sahaba on this. So no for practical purposes it is evidence. A weak hadith had priority over aql (which is your position of taking a word out of context not looking at the practice of prophet or the sahaba whom you malign for not following the sunnah). By the way to malign the sahaba is a major sin which requires tawba. And the practice of the sahaba is hujja. Ambiguous words in the hadith a not qat'i Al dalala.

in shamail e tirmizi it is mention that the beard of the prophet s.a.w. was long till the "Nahar" that's why the shaba of prophet s.a.w Hazrat ibn Omar ,ibn Abbas and other cut their beards after the "nahar" and non of them( shaba or tabai)have said wrong or stop ibn Omar or other shabah for doing that And this is ijmah sooo read Qur'an and Hadith don't follow ullama blindly And if someone thinks that the prophet s.a.w. have never cut his beard and that's why I will also never cut my beard then it's ok but don't say that it is haram to cut the beard after the "nahar" and yes it is haram to shave 🪒 it . because it is farz to keep beard for mens .

A muslim beard should be kempt. Other religions dont place emphasis on this so a muslim beard should not look similar to those. E.g. Sikh beard as they are not allowed to cut theirs. Islam places an emphasis on self care, hygiene and grooming standards
