The pilot body improvement looks fantastic! It seems so live-like.
I know, I can’t wait to admire it for 5 minutes then turn off pilot body like I do in every single aircraft.

I think the most important thing of all at this time was for ED and Razbam to resolve their conflict to increase their customers' trust levels.
Wait so have they resolved it yet?
Not that we know! I guess next update we check out if there are any traces of Razbam work and fixes

Integrated voice commands would be great, and a smart business move from ED, xpanding their presence in the marketplace

I really admire (and am very grateful for) the skill some folks have with making cinematics with DCS but I have none of those skills and prefer to just fly missions and target 'bad guys'. Now I get to look forward to even more impressive cinematics and spending some time in the F-4 pointing the nose at an imaginary (hehehe) enemy and wreaking havoc on em. Those pilot helmets keep reminding me of Star Wars. The MBB helicopter looks good, so that's 3 tiny choppers; MBB Kiowa and Gazelle.
Judging by the preview videos, the Phantom looks to be even more phantastic than I had anticipated. Much to look, err, phorward to. 😀

Soon we all will be counting potatoes to Phantom release, hehehe. Meanwhile we'll be able to see what Phantom can do because it's already in the hands of content creators. What little there has been thus far is pretty and awesome. I am even more excited than before!
Oh, and the new pilot models look great, but does this include pilot model for cockpit view in F-16? We'll have to see.
Voice attack should be integrated into DCS natively. When playing VR in the apache it's not only easier but also more immersive.
The AI RIO extension for Vaicom Pro is an absolute must, particularly in VR. I really hope the devs are able to implement something similar with the new F-4E Jester!
Its worth the $10.. can do a ton of stuff with any game.. dcs just needs to focus on the game itself😅 we dont need a new incomplete feature

Voice interactions would absolutely open up a whole new realm for DCS.
Imagine how amazing it would be to have AI JTAC and ATC on every server, but properly integrated into the game, kinda like how we now have Beyond ATC for MSFS.

The new pilots 3d models are really good, you can see the wires of the helmet moving with the G's, and that seems to be a really good improvement for the future of DCS (I'm thinking about tankers' hoses reacting to turbulence or reacting to the planes movements more realistic)

I just hope that with the Afghanistan Map coming, they will overhaul ground troops as to make for a more realistic CAS/insurgency gameplay. Just started to get more back into the Apache and Warthog. Also it’ll be interesting to see how the Chinook and its transport role will fit into this map. Id love to get my hands on the map

Great video, I think the pilot models is a great feature but I think ED could use this time to add features to other models that we have been promised, such as for the super carrier. Can't wait wait for the 24th and it a Friday, someone at heatblur is very smart,now I can fly the f-4 all weekend.

Great video. I dont even update my Echo 19 sound mods...every time I do, a "new" update comes out...getting closer to June ( waiting for release of Afghanistan map). Finally F16 pilot, essential in VR. I use it for scaling.
I know it takes time to develop things, but i was quite surprised at how little progress there seemed to be on the Tornado since the last news. It feels like this is a really long time away from even early access, which as a Brit, is a huge shame.

Got some concerns for Kola map, but ngl the map is very photogenic. Overall I do enjoy the view enough to be happy about the purchase.
Microphone cable routed incorrectly, mask slack not tacked, missing HMCS tail...
Otherwise it looks great! Loving the variations in gear such as the frost and koch connectors and the seawars.
I'll be curious the route they choose to go with the NVG's. I still really wish they would add the NVCD's but its too "modern" I guess.
Wonder if there's a lot of overlap between DCS and Star Citizen players. I know my HOTAS pulls double duty!

personally i fly only in vr an don't normally use pilot model as in the early days you used to clip in an out of the dudes head an after 10 years of not trying again i may just they look really good
Everytime I see helicopter news I smile. I want the Bo-105 and the OH-58D yesterday. Sadly with the addition of the voice commands I think the Bo-105 will be at least another year in development and is now taking the position of vaporware away from the OH-58D.

Do you think the plan at 2:29 is made thanks to a nes camera mode, allowing free cam and head to be shown in F1 like camera mode? Or simply that instrument pannel and pilot model will be shown in full quality in F4 cinematic camera mode?
I don't really care about the piolet model. But now you have the HIMCS2 helmet with the 1st gen HMCS. I would much rather it be the other way around. The A10 has had the HMCS2 for years now. Let's get it for the F16.
I just remembered that if I want all the jets once used by the Bundeswehr that come to DCS I gotta dig deep into my pockets. Already forgot about the Tornado and than there is the G.91 coming. Do I need to mention the Eurofighter/Typhoon? :D
