Never use an ATM machine at night time everybody! A guy in my area did that and almost got jumped by a group of ppl. Thankfully he was able to escape and get help. Turns out they were teens looking to rob the guy 😒

From Gillespie's critics you'd think even if he did find it, he wouldnt say so, because his organization runs on memberships and donations, but I dont buy that. Get a crew of metal detector nuts up there and they'd find that engine.

There’s no way her brother-in-law would attempt CPR and risk accidentally swallowing strychnine if he knew she had ingested it. Stanley Poyner was later charged with stealing a ledger out of the wax museum. He was a student mortician at the time of Patsy’s death. He was later killed by police when on the run in 1991. Police have said he was their “only suspect” at the time.

I'm still looking for the episode with the mysterious package, The recipient would get Anonymous creepy phone calls on why he hasnt opened the package, Which made him more skeptical on if he should open the package, he took it to the police station but they advised not for him to open it there. Within a week him and his friend decide to open the package And turns out to be a bomb, killing them both.
It was incidents like that in the 1980s (and perhaps the early 1990s) that caused banks to create shelters around their ATMs and other measures to try to prevent someone from being accosted as they made a transaction. There are also a lot more available indoors at night now.
Yeah, mine has a card slot where it unlocks the lobby and the 2 ATMs are in the entry area. That's really smart. Tbh even in the daytime I'll keep glancing behind me when using one, it just seems dangerous to have your back to anyone while using a machine lol
The Patsy Wright murder is one of the most disturbing unsolved murders this show ever did the story on. Brian Cox had it done, and wanted her to die in a horrible way, and strychnine poisoning is as horrible a way as possible..especially if the person that was paid "got to know her well first".

David Welsh few years ago I had a little rat terrier dog,3 little jack Russell terriers who were strays I had rescued to find a home for,my big half lab half rottweiler,who were poisoned one Sunday by my neighbors with hot dogs. little rat terrier & jack Russell had seizures all night,& on Sunday no veterinarians were open that I knew of. When I took them in first thing Monday morning vet said it was strychnine, that's what causes seizures!! Had to euthanize them, didn't have money to try to treat to keep alive,& didn't know if they would live or be damaged too bad if we tried. my big dog had vomited up enough to live,but one of the stray rescue had eaten it. Few weeks later another one of the rescue had been poisoned but she lived, apparently didn't eat as much, maybe vomited it up too,& I started treating her quickly. I was so angry,I SO wanted to find who did it!!

You got to realize something and think about it. Harley Davidson motorcycle's were synonymous with outlaw bikers. This was the 1970s and I believe in California with this story. You had the Hell's Angels and Mongols and the other small time biker gangs in SoCal. He grew up in a well to do family and then having a bike like that wasn't exactly well received. You invite trouble even though you are not willingly doing so. As a biker myself of 11 years and all the bullshit stories and rhetorical nonsense I've heard about how dangerous bikes are, I understand what the parents were getting at. Different times than what we have now.

All where very good but one aspect that people forget that made the original Unsolved Mysteries was the camera work by the crew was just as terrifying. 39:19 is a perfect example. The close up with of the poisoned medicine bottle and the last image of Patsy Wright(the actress who plays her) laying on the bed. Scary stuff!!
Strychnine is an incredibly painful and even violent way to die. It would be nothing as peaceful or calm as depicted here. No one would chose to take his own life using strychnine.

They are dead they said this at the end of story segment. But whoever the filthy few are im sure they are still in the underworld. But albiet sad its not a isolated incident the killer biker type get their bikes from killing someone for it its considered a badge of honour to get those vintage bikes thru brutally murdering someome who they feel dont deserve it. a couple things bug me depending on the story.........what is it with police if Parents report their Teenage child is missing they automatically assume they ran away from home. I mean seriously not every teenager comes from a bad home life. or they refuse to look for someone untill a certain time has passed. a dead body is found and turns out to be the missing teen or adult.. then they start careing about what happen... that's no comfort to the family who lost a loved one. when the police could have found them sooner and maybe before they got killed. I'm suprised they bother looking for a child if he or she is 10 years old and under right away... if they are older they wait.

@@gregorydean4038I doubt Patsy’s sister or brother-in-law were involved, and they (from what I have read) have been ruled out as suspects. There’s no way her brother-in-law would attempt CPR and risk accidentally swallowing strychnine if he knew she had ingested it.
Stanley Poyner was later charged with stealing a ledger out of the wax museum. He was a student mortician at the time of Patsy’s death. He was later killed by police when on the run in 1991. Police have said he was their “only suspect” at the time.

I'm still looking for the episode with the mysterious package, The recipient would get Anonymous creepy phone calls on why he hasnt opened the package, Which made him more skeptical on if he should open the package, he took it to the police station but they advised not for him to open it there. Matt Chase's story made me never use an ATM especially at night.
It was incidents like that in the 1980s (and perhaps the early 1990s) that caused banks to create shelters around their ATMs and other measures to try to prevent someone from being accosted as they made a transaction. There are also a lot more available indoors at night now.
Yeah, mine has a card slot where it unlocks the lobby and the 2 ATMs are in the entry area. That's really smart. Tbh even in the daytime I'll keep glancing behind me when using one, it just seems dangerous to have your back to anyone while using a machine lol

The Patsy Wright murder is one of the most disturbing unsolved murders this show ever did the story on. Brian Cox had it done, and wanted her to die in a horrible way, and strychnine poisoning is as horrible a way as possible..especially if the person that was paid "got to know her well first".

David Welsh few years ago I had a little rat terrier dog,3 little jack Russell terriers who were strays I had rescued to find a home for,my big half lab half rottweiler,who were poisoned one Sunday by my neighbors with hot dogs. little rat terrier & jack Russell had seizures all night,& on Sunday no veterinarians were open that I knew of. When I took them in first thing Monday morning vet said it was strychnine, that's what causes seizures!! Had to euthanize them, didn't have money to try to treat to keep alive,& didn't know if they would live or be damaged too bad if we tried. my big dog had vomited up enough to live,but one of the stray rescue had eaten it. Few weeks later another one of the rescue had been poisoned but she lived, apparently didn't eat as much, maybe vomited it up too,& I started treating her quickly. I was so angry,I SO wanted to find who did it!!

You got to realize something and think about it. Harley Davidson motorcycle's were synonymous with outlaw bikers. This was the 1970s and I believe in California with this story. You had the Hell's Angels and Mongols and the other small time biker gangs in SoCal. He grew up in a well to do family and then having a bike like that wasn't exactly well received. You invite trouble even though you are not willingly doing so. As a biker myself of 11 years and all the bullshit stories and rhetorical nonsense I've heard about how dangerous bikes are, I understand what the parents were getting at. Different times than what we have now.

All where very good but one aspect that people forget that made the original Unsolved Mysteries was the camera work by the crew was just as terrifying. 39:19 is a perfect example. It was said in this episode that only one other time previously had strychnine been listed as a cause of death. With it being that rare, how is it no one has ever been able to trace where it was obtained and taken from? Who would have access to it?

a couple things bug me depending on the story.........what is it with police if Parents report their Teenage child is missing they automatically assume they ran away from home. I mean seriously not every teenager comes from a bad home life. or they refuse to look for someone untill a certain time has passed. a dead body is found and turns out to be the missing teen or adult.. then they start careing about what happen... that's no comfort to the family who lost a loved one. when the police could have found them sooner and maybe before they got killed.
