Heyo everyone!
Here's probably the last soundtrack for the audiobook of "IE:Prequel's Finale" I'll release before the audiobook itself and, you might have already guessed, but it's time for the Crystallized theme!
This one focuses way more on "horror" and "fear" and isn't as epic and powerful as the Molten theme. It has some leitmotiv of Nerath, of course, especially at the end.
This track will play in the background when the Crystallized will attack the UEP who were projected all the way to the Crystal Empire from the Rebirth Zone, interrupting a dialogue between Shining Armor, Zecora, Cadance and Twilight.
Being the last two representents of the Royalty, Shining Armor wouldn't risk to send Twilight and Cadance on the battlefield even though they don't agree with that decision - especially not with a kid (Flurry Heart). But when the whispers grew stronger and snow fell harder, the Crystallized attacked them. Shining Armor and some of the UEP soldiers fought those while the three princesses and Zecora flee. Their destination was very far - the amazonian forest were lived an old Zebra tribe.
"Better to be exiled than killed", said Shining. "Let's hope that territory is so far away that you can escape the undeads..."
As always, it will be fully detailed in the audiobook - this is just a description to explain the situation of when the soundtrack will be played.
Important note: that soundtrack might have some edit such as tempo modification and pacing to perfectly fit the voice overs.
Two songs (with vocals) for the Prequel's Finale are in the works - let's hope y'all will like it!

I love both sides for vastly different reasons.
Nerath feels cold, calmer. Her crystals aren't beautiful and her method of destruction is patient.
Aqasha is warm, boiling in her harsh light. She surges forward in like an earthquake where nerath slowly consumes like a blizzard.
They're opposites and balanced even when existing solely for conquering.
Stars and fire are alike - powerful, wild, and capable of defeating darkness in head-to-head combat. But they cannot live in a vacuum; they burn, and all burning things require sustenance. The cold and dark have no such obligation, no such weakness, and thus prevail in a simple battle of attrition. The cold chips away at their fuel reserves, and the darkness consumes what the light can no longer protect. In the beginning, there was only darkness, and in the end, only darkness will remain.
I’m firmly on Team Nerath when it comes to the conflict, not only because I like Luna/Nightmare Moon more than Celestia/Daybreaker-but because I have always admired the night sky. However, Twilight is my second favorite member of the mane 6 (Rainbow Dash is my #1 favorite), so I hate to see twily and her family in danger. Congratulations, Jyc…..you finally managed to make me have conflicted loyalties!
On the other hand... I hate twilight and always did, so he only managed to make me more loyal to Nerath xD

The problem with seeing in the dark is not that you see the unseen but the mere fact that if you can see them... They can see you.
The world of Equus as they we know it will perish in the frozen barren world. Who would stop her from crystalizing everyone and everything on this planet.
What about energy preservation law? If we convert some kinetic energy into heat one (by just throwing something into something), we'll got some extra heat. So, _theoretically,_ if Aqasha would decide to drop Moon on Equus, then, as kinetic energy is mass at velocity squared and divided by 2, there would be a *LOT* of energy and we wouldn't freeze. Of course if this happen it will turn Equus into burning hell but which goddess actually cares about it?

Despite being a Molten at heart, I do love the crystallized music. The chilling choir and haunting tone just gets to me.

Despite how they look beautiful, staring at them for too long and you have chills on your bones. Staring at their crystal creations like staring to a mirror and you will be blinded with fears. Their waters will drown into the darkest abyss and you cannot escape from the deepest oceans. Their icy spikes will stab through your flesh and the coldest storms will rain down with hail and snow.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful just like neraths and Naegissa’s vision for the crystallized a world of pure black with icy crystals covering the land and I will do everything in my power to help that vision as a loyal part of the crystallized may the vision come true the world at its finest 😊❤️
At first, those whispers were mysterious and from the first minute created a spooky atmosphere. I liked the power with which the melody and the powerful chorus were transmitted! Btw, the description for each video helps to better present the overall picture.

Definitely my favorite theme out of the two themes! I love the how suspenseful and dramatic it sounds, it gives the theme a very scary personality to it. It makes the crystalized seem ever more fearsome. Definitely wouldn't wanna mess with them, not even taking into account they have a goddess as a leader

This tops the Molten theme by far. I love the creativity and uniqueness here.

I love this!! I think it's the subtle whispering mixed in with the song that I love the most. I'm still holding true with being Team Aqasha/Molten, but I can feel the chill of ice and crystal from this song.

I absolutely despise things like "Deus Ex Machina" or "MC plot armor", so no worries, it's won't be MLP:FIM-like x)
And I know it won't please everyone, of course, but I always said it won't be a simple story "good vs bad" where good wins everytime. Already have been a lot and, in my opinion, there isn't any point to tell a story when you already know the end due to that.
Also, I always said since the beginning that the Main Story of IE is taking place 300 years *after* the current events and, more importantly, there won't be any show characters in it, for copyright reasons but also for total creative freedom!

After reading description I have only one to said; why did Shining Armor has anything to say about where Twilight 'shouldn't' or 'musn't' be? She is the ruler of Equestria for Celestia's sake! That is obvious she want, and will be at the battlefield. About Cadence... she is a mother, so that can be a point in discussion, but Twilight? Did enyone really think that the 'big brother argument' can work? That's ridiculous. Or in that whole story something else happend just to Twilight about we don't know (maby in her psychic after her mentor's and friend's fall down) and she is weaker fizycly, or has now weaker will. Still, Twilight we all know would NEVER agree to stay safe when everypony else fight for thair home with no chanse to win (situation in last episode is different, becouse she and others tried fight together, and Crystal Empire was the last line of resistance. Twilight don't fled before the battle. Here it sounds like Shining Armor and his army are going to their death, to Cadence and Twilight can escape goddesses, even without plan to defeat tham later). I don't think even this about we already know happened in this story could change her so dramaticly. We'll see

Yup, that's an understandable POV about Twilight! The point of Shining is, obviously, because he's really worried about her sister but, not only that. Of course, Twilight will not just say "okay bro good luck!", that'll be an entire dialogue which is going to be in the audiobook (and was waaay to long to write in the description (plus I don't wanna spoil everything ;p))

Well, I didn't start playing the expansion yet, to be honest! I'm actually waiting to move in my new house so I'll be able to stream the whole expansion in a one big single stream! Then, maybe in the future, if I'm inspired by the song, maybe I'll do it! Now that I'm also playing FFXIV, I might do some song focused on this game as well!
