Wouldn't make any sense. We've seen the X-Men in 'Deadpool 2', the same ones from 'X-Men - Dark Phoenix', which means Deadpool is in that timeline and in that universe. Period.
I'm confused with the Fox timeline. Isn’t that supposed to be before X-Men 1 or was X-Men 1 retconned or something? If Deadpool is set now then why is Jean Grey and the rest so young?
Deadpool 1 & 2 are in Marvel Cinematic Universe,Post Endgame Projects are in Netflix's Daredevil/Defenders Universe except for Spider-Man Far From Home and Spider-Man No Way Home of course,Deadpool 3 will take us back to the previous MCU once again just to also see Deadpool going onto the FOX Universe which contains Hugh Jackman's Wolverine,Jessica Alba's Fantastic Four and Ben Affleck's Daredevil along with Jennifer Gardner's Elektra.

I feel like Marvel Studios could retcon the Deadpool films to be a part of the MCU if tweak some things to match with the timeline. The Deadpool films always felt like their own thing, even if they were, technically, a part of the X-Men Universe. That Helicarrier in the first movie, though, could be used as a way to retcon these films as part of MCU canon.
This is actually a phenomenal theory. I’ve never thought about this before but I actually think that this is a fantastic theory and I would love it if they actually paid this off.
While continuity isn’t essential for the Deadpool movies, this makes a ton of sense within both the crazy 20th Century X-Men continuity and fits well with the existing MCU
Great theory... I feel like the way I would've approached it is to have Deadpool not really have much involvement with the MCU. Having his crazy wacky adventures, but on one average adventure for Wade something goes wrong. I mean he's in New York... Right? But it's not his New York. Basically during the events of Avengers Kang Dynasty worlds are colliding, molding, changing. Collateral damage of timelines and most importantly different universes leading to Deadpool ending up the MCU. With him exploring this new opportunity for him, while also trying to find his friends leading up to Secret Wars. I know that's kinda what they're going for with Deadpool 3 and his future involvement of the MCU going forward. (Not to mention I'm not really invested in the MCU at least with certain projects) I just feel that there's SO MUCH opportunities on how to approach it and making it worthwhile...
I don't think this was the original plan for the Deadpool films but your theory might come true if Feige and Marvel Studios ever decides to retcon the Deadpool films as taking place in the post-Secret Wars MCU
Finally I’m not the only one that thinks that they’re canon Although I believe that Deadpool 1 takes place after Civil War and either right before or after Defenders Deadpool 2 I would believe it takes place say 2 years after Infinity War
So I’m guessing that in the beginning of his second film, he had already watched a whole marathon of X-Men and Wolverine movies and after seeing LOGAN, that’s where he of course said f**k him and the movie lol (I love the movie but also agree w/ him on that since I was heartbroken)
Wild if it reveals that Deadpool was the reason for all the events of the MCU indirectly, and Deadpool 3 could reset everything back to endgame times and we can get good movies from marvel again
This is a cool theory but the helicarrior isnt marked at all and looks slightly different, i rather think hes either in the fox unsivere or in a universe between fox and mcu
Nope deadpool isn't part of the mcu of set in the future but sense he has a time machine at the end of deadpool 2 and says he's fixing the timeline maybe he fixed it to much where disney bought fox and the xmen right via forth wall break
Cool idea but remember Negasonic said that the house always blows up every few years. But still wouldn’t mind it if it ended up being true, though it could just be part of the revised X-men timeline
The reason colossus is different is because they messed up the timeline in X-Men days of future past you can’t talk about movies if you don’t know what happens in them
they could always integrate any marvel heroes into mcu since multiverse become a thing. then again, things probably more complicated when it comes to these things.
I mean the yakuza is the largest crime organization in Japan so its possible that while its the same organization its two very different iterations of it
"Zip it, Thanos" I know this line is all for jokes but think about it, how come deadpool even know who thanos is? Also, it's the only way to integrate Deadpool and X-men in the MCU.
The Marvel Universe went from being made of tightly knit, well plotted classics to an absolute dumpster fire full of goofy TV shows in a few short years.
That’s an awesome theory that I feel Disney/Marvel should go with. It’ll give them a chance to set up the next 2 avengers films along with fixing all plot holes in this multiversal saga. Here’s another one. He should enter into a universe where Gorr is actually Gorr. Look wise and murderous wise. In mid battle of all 3 thors and make some wisecrack and leave. I’ll never forget TW for that terrible film, and how he really doesn’t care about how we feel about how the characters and stories should go
I dont know how deadpool will fit in the official marvel movies, its just kid friendly comedy, look at what they did to hulk. He wont be deadpool that we know anymore, his jokes won't be allowed in the official marvel movies.
I feel like wolverine going back in time and changing things could be what changed things because if Deadpool was in the MCU, we would definitely get some mention of characters like spiderman.
Sadly this is the only thing preventing this theory from being bulletproof, if jackmans wolverine is not from Wade’s universe than it may still stand though
To me the first one is in a different mcu universe, the second one is fox, but the third on is in the actual mcu, because Deadpool can be in whatever universe he wants to be in cuz hes fukn Deadpool
Interesting theory but wasn’t the future of the of the old X-men in a futuristic 2023 since that’s where the sentinels took place And Deadpool’s future was altered when days of future past changed everything with the new cast
You can’t really use the continuity of the X-men movies being different then Deadpool as evidence there in different universe, because none of the X-men movies care about continuity. The first three have the clearest links between but even they have contradictory between movies. The way I see it All of the Fox X-men films, shows, and Spinoffs exist because if the initial trilogy, however after the trilogy each movie exists more or less in a separate timeline. Made as a result of Deadpool and Wolverine messing with time in later films. Knowing how time travel works on X-men comics and how time travel works in other marvel comics is important. In X-men time travel either all ways creates an alternate timeline or alternate universe. Or more specifically the alternate timeline usually becomes an alternative universe after things are set back to normal. An alternative universe that now as an alternate beginning. As Mr Mom would say “New future, new Present, New past” I’m paraphrasing of course. This happens in other marvel comics as well but not always, usually time travel rules change from comic to comic in marvel. But X-men time travel almost always creates alternate “universe”. However that’s not that I think the film makers held this in mind when creating the X-men movies, or shows like Gifted, Mutant X, or Legion, or spin-offs like Deadpool, I just think they didn’t care about continuity and just ignored it from movie to movie. Or just flat out haven’t seen the previous films, it’s just coincidental that the timeline makes sense if you factor in all the projects and have knowledge of the comics.
I always thought Deadpool was in is own universe separate from both X-Men and MCU but could travel any universe do to fourth wall breaks
And you can always explain the 4th wall breakin' by just calling him crazy and talking to him self or imagining there's an actual audience watching him 24/7. A multiverse is a wonderful thing.
