Etsy is a huge marketplace for sellers as you can sell both physical and digital products to a huge audience.
Etsy is a great platform for beginners BECAUSE it is a marketplace - you already have access to buyers looking for items to buy. When you open a new shop on Etsy you instantly have the same access to all those buyers and don't have to drive traffic to your listing like you would on your own website.
This is why I like Etsy for beginners who want to sell items online.
I personally love selling on Etsy and have made hundreds of sales in my first 6 months of selling digital downloads online. Starting my Etsy shop was one of the best things I ever did online which is why I want to show others how to do it and encourage you to take the step to creating your dream of selling online!

In my experience, you need to have something people will think to search for. I tried selling origami art for a year and had less than 10 sales.
But now you also need to be specific enough that a dropshipper won’t have the same thing for less.
The most tempting shops to buy from for me, an Etsy customer, are ones I find via other social media and get a view into the creative process or the seller’s personality.
Yes it’s definitely a search based game!

I think that might have a large start-up cost (buying the journals). Have you considered prints of motivational quotes with colorful or designed backgrounds? Personally, I don’t think you’d need to go bigger than 8.5x11inxhes

@@AutumnAprodithe you could also sell custom digital art: like custom business card designs, but not do the printing yourself. You just sell the design and the customer can take the digital file(s) and get them printed where they want.
