I remember this day! My Dad did business with Junior Johnson who I was able to secure Juniors pardon that he applied for under Jimmy Carter! The small dirt track after the tri-oval was actually the old Greyhound Dog track. When racing dogs was allowed in Florida. Now it is gone and replaced as Lot 1 parking at Daytona.
You don’t get to decide when a driver retires. A driver should say when he retires. So what if they’re not competitive if they still want to drive let em’ drive till they can’t no more. You live your own life let athletes and artists live their own. No one but the person themselves should be in charge of when they retire.
