Without peace with Russia, without trust with China, unable to manage the Middle East problem apart from the United States. And the deeply rooted European exceptionalism. (One need to drop its arrogance to change and grow ) , the fragmentation with in and the conflicts between nations interest. Maybe we should look at the map where is the Europe located. I don’t see much of optimist.

But Mr President Macron you are speaking in a dynamic and concrete way . Maybe it is way to much for a German broadcaster. It is well known that the Anglo-Saxons are the opposite of the concentration of dynamism. They are literally stuck without any vision. They can only create instability with utopian choices and actions that lead to total disaster. It's a fact. It's history. The United States of Europe should change the statute of its constitution, facilitating those who have the real concrete ability to create real progress for all. We can not continue with this barbaric Merkelian grotesque inaction while the other continents are in full swing. It is simply unacceptable. President Macron , you were a true revelation for me. An “investment” is when you lend money for an expected monetary return. It’s really a loan with a few extra steps.
These politicians seem to have changed the definition to “to spend other peoples’ money on non-business projects that I like” a better word for that would be an “Expense” or maybe an “Expenditure”.
The point is the taxpayer (the people who “invested” the money) will never get a return check in the mail for any of this.

Just to share my opinion (I am autistic so my vision is very human): I think that this man has an obsolete vision, and he shows it by thinking that the United States is an example and comparing Europe with one of the most unequal countries in the world.
This man also represents the Western European hypocrisy, which is based on thinking only and exclusively about its interests above everything else, which inevitably develops the consequences that constitute the future European scenario.
European politicians should first have a salary based on the average European salary. Only in this way will they be able to represent the majority democratically, living with the limitations and problems that we all experience.
Being a public servant is not belonging to an exclusive elite but unconditionally helping people to achieve and preserve equal opportunities, Mr. Macron.
Where does a partial and pseudo-realistic elitist vision lead public services?
Europe tends to the past precisely because of this type of hypocritical mentality and lack of any vision.
You have not said anything about the inequality that France offers its inhabitants. A distribution of wealth that is somewhat descriptive.
Another absurdity that thinks that the economy must be liberal and that it must have no limits. Napoleon Macron, there are 449 million of us in Europe and in Europe, thanks to people who think like you, the richest 10% of the continent owns 67% of the wealth. Equality of opportunity? Over-regulated Europe? I would say a Europe that is painfully regulated by the tax inequality that guarantees and preserves the current distribution of European wealth. And do you think it will be more like the United States?
Taking demographics and the distribution of wealth in Europe as fundamental indicators, what is called "democracy" is actually a proto-democracy, Mr. Macron. We must begin by equalizing opportunities and not by magnifying differences.
Now ad ai to the equation to magnify the ratio of inequality that your model develops mr. Macron
    Peace

But Israel has failed it's guest status in the Middle East. If EU needs the IMEC, it should be having other plans not including Israel or USA. EU may find that Asia/Pacific and Oceania may want to play a part of the IMEC as well or even parts of Africa and Latin America. I admire the courage of France trying to keep some principles. Germany went first into Middle East and it will be interesting to see how the Middle East stands up to all suitors. But given it's continent and almost free energy with solar its definately tempting to move industry and manufacturing to either Middle East or somewhere near Morocco. If Israel and USA bombings leave anything left of Lebanon , Syria, Iraq, Gaza all efforts should be sent to plan for rebuilding and creating jobs unless we all want more boat people into the Mediterranean Sea. All our efforts should be focussed on that outcome.

So in order to any EU country to compete thay need to pay less money to the European workers!! Then the level of life quality in EU would drop!

Good idea to focus on some sense that's not parting with traditional cultures above what might leave one with some hope for the world and for our future. Whether he's somewhat surer of he's own correctness then what he's appreciated for at times, he does at least speak of and about other nations without throughing overboard the set of manners that should have brought he's efforts way further then what's yet become actual. The best we can do at present with the broad range of a struggeling conservative left in sight is therefore definately to collect behind Mister President Emmanuel Macron, this also whether the US shall be unfortunate enough to miss its chances with the fortunate development of The Democratic Party or not, as how ever much misfortune there shall be and either Russia shall enjoy enough Musk- or China-support to stay foot with its maddest culture ever or our own rightwing conceitedness shall again make for cultural losses above what's ever before left much but broad declines of anything like cohesion behind our common European culture, there's at least one who's expected not to loose sight of the eventual opportuneties that might despite misfortunes still in parts remain.

there are so many countries that simply cannot afford the level of regulation the EU has the luck and fortune to be able to implement
although not necessarily every regulation currently imposed is healthy for the EU, overall usually, regulation is an advanced development for business that eventually arises when the financial situation is secure enough to pay for that, and the technological situation advanced enough to calculate and monitor best regulatory policy

technological neutrality? is a very controversial policy and rarely seen
it is not Ludditism which tends to downgrade or eliminate technology, more frequently seen than technological neutrality but also rare
while talk is expensive and action usually, even more so
it's near impossible to implement technological neutrality at the global level, even internally in a cohesive unit as such the European Union it's very hard to do, and usually an unpopular policy at both the upper and broader levels
economically in some cases it can pay off on both temporary or even permanent terms, in the case here considering the EU or also the entire globe a permanent technological neutrality would not be cost feasible, in other words it would be bad
a temporary technological neutrality for the EU would be oh so difficult to achieve, technological neutrality is a tough thing to do that is no easy task, though, apparently the French state feels it would be economically and socially beneficial for some undisclosed time period
at the individual company level technological neutrality is often pursued as a policy for this or that time period, at least certainly in the past, and sometimes today
sorry to say to it's devoted partners in the EU, many of whom are military allies, that the United States of America just can't weather technological neutrality right now, whether or not it accepts such a policy
what America could use, is a reduction in work hours for some of it's human workers, which part of the workforce it is feasible, for instance farmers and ranchers that could use part of the extra free time on home improvement, restaurant workers where reduced open hours is feasible and part of the free time can be spent on either gardening or vacationing or entrepreneur internet attempts,
to bring America completely out of the COVID doldrums is going to take decisive actions, including for it's economy, indeed the disease itself is not yet completely wiped out, government has it's limitations whether constitutionally mandated or not, it can either help a little or hurt a little
both the Trump and Biden administrations helped a little to defeat COVID, in terms of both the economy and eradication of the illness, while we can debate which administration helped America more and what they could have done better, or should not have done, despite the luck of a little help from the government, it remains up to the people whether in the workforce or not, to finalize the successful swoop out of the horrendous calamity which befalled it, finger pointing aside, which is up to various workers dealing with international treaty matters
