This is the best possible use of the new collision models. I see some hinges in there too, all the new parts. Love the use of negative space as well as the detailing with the paint textures. Amazing work as always.
Thanks Rag, the collision update was almost TOO helpful and the balls started dropping through the 1x1 gaps that they had previously been able to roll on. Adding windows on one side of the gap made for a quick fix. Can you explain the negative space bit?
Negative space is having gaps between areas, like the ones you had to fill with windows. It makes things a lot nicer to look at since it adds to them being more than solid chunks of armor.
This is absolutely amazing. Some of the stuff you come up with.... Someone could spend HOURS looking at something you make and still miss little details.

But first I'll need to see that you're even interested.
I just downloaded and blueprint and tried it out. It doesn't work anymore. The game must have been updated. Piston heads are stuck together and collision models of the balls must have changed because they're falling through gaps they aren't in the video.
@@BlackArmor718 The whirlygigs after the steps at the start? After I bypassed the steps, the balls were either falling through the gaps or getting stuck at the top preventing the whirlygig from spinning. I thought about reshaping it a bit but I went back to redesigning my ship instead.

Happy to hear that!
looks like one of those lego conventions. nicely done!
Good good, that's what I was going for
You're a genius. Everything I've built in SE is trash next to your builds.
I really did just invest myself in a 7 minute video about balls on an obstacle course
Only who knows Space Engineers would do that. Because we know that is not just "a ball on an obstacle course" ;)
As a lover of legos, rube goldbergs, and space engineers, thank you so much! :D
Whats more impressive is your timing with the music. When that green ball drops at the end, perfect timing!
Lol thank you for noticing

@@MakyProchy really glad to hear that

"Because he can."
This is insanely clever .. and should have a million views
I spent this entire video hoping that the yellow ball would make it to first place. Great Build.

When I asked if there was anything you couldn’t do, it wasn’t a fucking challenge.
accepted anyways

I agree
