A bit late going to NTU, the nicest korean food in NTU crescent hall closed recently cause their canteen is undergoing renovation.
For NTU can try these:
Can1 - western stall (breaded chicken + fish and chip set)
Can2 - Steamed ayam penyet (the normal fried one nice too)
Koufu - self customised salad(top level), jap teppan chicken(below level)
Can9 - Dry mala
Can12/13 - Korean food stall (rec SoonDubu Tang)
Can 14 - handmade noodle store's dry banmian, western stall's thai chicken chop (not sure if it's still the same vendor as before)
Pioneer Hall Canteen - Dry yongtaufu (add in the maggi mee! Thats how most of the ntu peeps have it)
The Hive's cafe - Tom Yum Pasta
for Halal options in NTU:
1. Nasi Padang at NIE (value for money and sedap!)
2. Ayam Penyet at Can 2
3. Seafood Tom Yum Pasta at Hive
4. Fish and Chips at Hive
I was in NP thinking whether they would continue this series with the universities this evening and they really did. praise be my intuition
Featured the wrong stall from Science Canteen. The Chinese noodles stall is the flagship right there.. delicious and bang for the buck!
North Spine: Italian (Grilled fish with herbs) in the extended canteen
South Spine: Kaki Fuyong from Jap store
Can 2: Ayam Penyet & Xiao long bao
NIE (if considered): Minced meat noodles, chicken porridge

Love these Three hosting together! even the fact that fauzi couldn't eat everything I think was interesting because it shows how muslim - friendly these places are which is always a plus :)
Do try: Can 1 Mala, Can 2 YongTauFoo(pork broth! Add pork/beef), xiaolongbao. Can 14 Dry Ban Mian. Can 11 CaiFan (yes, just normal CaiFan whr u can choose ur dishes! But always long queue during lunch!! Dinner time can try their butter pork chop w rice). Crescent hall is closed,unfornately..

2. Canteen 14 - Banmian
3. Canteen 2 - Ayam Penyet and the xlb is good too!
4. South spine koufu - probably can try the pasta stall, the concept is cool. Get their cream sauce!
Coming from NUS, I feel you, Fauzi. Hahahahha.
Can1: Western food (surf and turf is not bad, their pastas used to be good but standard dropped). MALA is a must try!! Also try the XLB from the stall in the middle.
Can2: ayam penyet (same chain as the one at nus though), western food chicken chop. XLB is good too (chinese food in ntu canteens are generally nice)
Koufu: pasta express (carbonara), japanese food (chicken fuyong), drinks from drink stall. Everything else at koufu is quite shit tbh
Pen&inc @ north spine (this is a must try! Really nice cafe food and reasonable prices): mentaiko fries, soft shell crab pasta, miso carbonara. One thing to note is that they may have changed their menu from the previous semester, but regardless the food there should stay good!
Co-op cafe @ hive: tom yam pasta
TSL should consider making a recipe series where Jon recreates the food he says he can do better, and let the staff to vote for either his version or the original version via blind taste testing
School is only starting in August and I couldn't find any good food whenever I went NUS... Thanks to this video now I know where all the goodies are hiding at!

Hidden gem but, Hall 16 la mian. Zha jiang mian has the noodles freshly pulled from dough which will redefine your expectations of what noodles can be and should be.

Apart from all the mentioned food from my fellow NTU peeps, MUST TRY the vietnam stall at northspine food court extension. Order the dried version, dish 3!
You guys totally went for the wrong food stall in FoS, should have went for the chinese noodle stall. Longest queue at the frontier has its reason. $2.30 for mix mix noodle and the pork ribs noodle. I mean, 6 chunks of pork ribs for just $2.30, I really wonder what are they earning....
Their pork ribs taste heavenly I can literally eat that for every meal!
Hahahaha jon damn funny "anything waa cow!" hahahah but seriously though, its freaking good (but expensive lah..)

I really miss Cinnamon Milk Tea from Artease cafe at Humanities & Social Sciences building in South Spine. Some decent pizzas can be found at Pitchstop too.

the stall you got the ayam penyet is the same as the other poly's where you got the panggang from

Hi editor of Singaporeans try! Just a suggestion but would really help with the rating part where it could be shown on screen a little longer (maybe say 5secs) as the current edit seems way too fast to catch what are the rating of the food the hosts gave. Really like how the puns were included in this video nonetheless! 😌👍🏽
Waa Cow is really expensive man. not going there on a student budget, but maybe only just to treat myself. I've always bypassed the place cause the price is just wew.

you guys didn't try the can can mian at science canteen! super value for money at $2.80 for a plate of noodles with a lot of ingredients!
