The guitarrist is George Lynch. You can find more on him in the web. I recommend Breaking The Chains from Dokken also. Its first video ever, "In my dreams", "Dream Warriors" (soundtrack of Nightmare on Elm Street 3), and "It's not love"
This song was on the Dokken album “Tooth And Nail” released in September of 1984. The video debuted on MTV in January of 1985. Another great video from Dokken is “The Hunter” from November of 1985.
Dokken are quite possibly the most underrated Hard Rock/Metal band of the 80s. They broke out in 1983 with 5 albums throughout the 80s three of which achieved platinum status and the other two Gold status. George Lynch is a monster guitarist and Don Dokken is a unique singer. Into the Fire while a great song overall , is not indicative of the power of Don’s voice, you really gotta hear songs like Unchain the Night and Kiss of Death to see how powerful it is. This is merely Don doing a more restrained and commercial song and his voice was still in the development stages, Into the Fire was off their second album (Tooth and Nail 1984) however when you get to their 3rd and 4th albums Under Lock and Key (1985) and Back for the Attack (1987) his voice has developed dramatically and his range is way more defined and impressive.
Love to see you young people from Gen Z appreciate the music we absolutely loved back then 🥰🤗 I'm an 80's girl. I loved also Aldo Nova Fantasy an incredible song! Dokken is definitely a favorite among many
GEORGE LYNCH RULES!!!!!! Shreds on guitars!!!! That was early Dokken. Check out some other Dokken songs like "In My Dreams", "Tooth and Nail", "Heaven Sent", "Its Not Love", "Kiss of Death", among many others. Check out the instrumental "Mr Scary", George Lynch shreds on that song!!!!!!!
George Lynch is a prominent American guitarist known for his work in the heavy metal genre. He was born on September 28, 1954, in Spokane, Washington, USA. Lynch first gained fame as the lead guitarist for the hard rock band Dokken in the 1980s, with whom he released several successful albums including "Tooth and Nail" and "Under Lock and Key". After leaving Dokken in the late 1980s, Lynch formed his own band called Lynch Mob, which continued to play heavy metal music. He has also collaborated with several other musicians over the years, including George Lynch's Souls of We, T&N, and KXM. Lynch is well known for his virtuosic guitar playing, which incorporates elements of blues, jazz, and classical music. He has been widely recognized as one of the most influential guitarists in heavy metal and hard rock, and his technical proficiency has earned him many accolades and awards over the years.

Dokken is an American glam metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978.[5] It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. The band had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, such as "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame", and have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.[6] The live album Beast from the East was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989.[ The classic Dokken line-up consisted of founder Don Dokken on vocals, George Lynch on lead guitar.
Glad you tried a Dokken song, Great to see your reaction! George Lynch is the reason I picked up a guitar and still play today. Dokken was caught between Hair/glam Metal and just metal. Dokken always had great hooks and walked the edge of radio play. The most underrated band from the 80's for me. They had it all. Try "In My Dreams, Alone Again or Paris Is Burning"
This song actually did come out in the 80s. It was featured in the movie “A Nightmare in Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors” along with the title song “Dream Warriors”from 1987. I also highly recommend their song “Kiss of Death” if you want sick vocals try “Girl School” by the band Britny Fox.
The guitarist is George Lynch; one of the best of the 80s metal era. I saw Dokken twice; when the opened for Judas Priest (1986) and Ratt (1985). Lynch actually learned a lot of his chops from Warren DeMartini; the guitar god from Ratt.
George lost the Ozzy gig because his hair was too short at the time. He said he was there for Jake E Lee's audition, and said it was not that great but he had the metal look of the day.
Dokken never got the notoriety or attention they deserved. Don Dokken the lead singer had such a melodic but powerful voice with a crazy range and George Lynch the lead guitarist completely destroyed every song and shredded every solo. I highly suggest you check out dream warriors, the warrior and in my dreams. All great songs that should have put Dokken up at the top. Sadly they were overshadowed by bands such as Def Leppard, RATT, Bon Jovi and a few others. Pretty sad as they were amazing.
George Lynch is probably the most under rated guitarists and if you want to see him shred check out Mr Scary but for an awesome Dokken song, and i my opinion the best, please react to in My Dreams.
If you want to hear a song that highlights Don Dokkens voice, I recommend "Walk Away" off of the "Beast from the East" album. Better production value than on the earlier albums as well. ruclips.net/video/ho5IF2yX5l8/видео.html. Also, if you want to hear George Lynch shread, check out "Mr. Scary" from the same album.
Ok guys. You got us here on the suggested link. Love it. Now, let's hit the big time. You ain't seen nothin' yet. -------->>>> Sept 2023 performance: Lynch Mob - Into The Fire ruclips.net/video/gP1qBjX_XaA/видео.html
Ok guys, suggestion here. Check out Liliac , song is Mars live in Cumming GA. Family band your age and younger. Finally the younger generation gets it right😂. Thank me later 👍🏻
Definitely Dokken's finest hour in terms of being a commercial yet Heavy band. They got a bit softer after this although the songwriting was still high quality but this album rocks from front to back
This song doesn’t showcase how good Don Dokken’s vocals are. This was in their early stages. They have a slew of good songs. I strongly recommend “Kiss of Death” which is voted their best song by most fans & critics.
I love motley crue but it doesn't get any better than dokken George lynch is an outstanding guitarist the whole band Don dokkens vocals,Jeff pilson on bass and wild mick brown on bass this is their second album came out in 84,they have many songs that are more vocally challenging try kiss of death off back for the attack album, the also had the title track to the movie nightmare on elmstreet 3 the song is dream warriors the band split in 1988 after the mosters of rock tour but reformed in 1994
George Lynch is a beast on guitar. You share my opinion. I think their singer is kinda weak. Lynch moved on And formed a band called “Lynch Mob”. Need to check a couple of those tunes out.
Typical of 80s rock Very compressed mix. Boosted mids. With the digital CD's top and bottom rolled off. Please dont listen to anything that Don sings today....
Guitarist George lynch is one of G.O.A.Ts he's a legend voted in rolling stone magazine as one of greatest guitar players of all time

These guys were amazing back in the day, I feel they were severely underrated!
Facts
They were so much better live. I don’t think they’re true sound has ever been captured on record.

You are 100% correct. Had it not been for Don and George’s massive egos, they could have been so much more greater than they were.
I've got a twin brother too, we were metal heads.... class 0f 85. Every high school had a couple of twins. That was me and my brother

Sweet thanks. My favourite 80s band, and it's a long long list.

Killer live! George Lynch way underated as a lead guitarist.......dude was one of the best I've ever seen live behind Eddie Van Halen of course.
You guys need to hear "#RATT"!!
They were buds starting out.
The guitarist is George Lynch; one of the best of the 80s metal era. I saw Dokken twice; when the opened for Judas Priest (1986) and Ratt (1985). Lynch actually learned a lot of his chops from Warren DeMartini; the guitar god from Ratt.
This is personally one of their calm tracks for me
Probably my favorite of the 4 big hair bands of the 80's. Top 4 for me in this order: 1. Dokken 2. Ratt 3. Poison 4. Motley Crue
George lost the Ozzy gig because his hair was too short at the time. He said he was there for Jake E Lee's audition, and said it was not that great but he had the metal look of the day.
the bassist, Jeff Pilson is with Foreigner along with Kelly Hansen from the band Hurricane.
"Dream Warriors" is a song by American band Dokken, that was written by members George Lynch & Jeff Pilson for the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street 3
Early mid eighties this was my teenage years so lucky
Dokken is my favorite band and Don Dokken is my 3rd favorite vocalist ever.

GEORGE LYNCH IS THE GUITAR PLAYER AND YES HE IS ONE OF THE GUITAR HEROS OF THE 80s !!!! LOL !!!!
Best band ever man. And George Lynch is like the godfather of guitar players
the vocals get piercing, checkout anything off of "Back for the attack". Don Dokken's range is phenominal.
PLEASE, I BEG YOU to react to Black Sabbath's Live 1970 performance of War Pigs. You don't see drummers kill the kit like this today.
Awesome jam yeah, good song 👏😎🤘🎤🥁🎸🎸
Underrated!
More suggestions: "Prisoners" and "Lightning Strikes Again".
Could also check out solo career. Don Dokken.. "Mirror Mirror" and "Stay".
Check out the Hunter, Tooth and Nail, Unchain the night, Just got Lucky, Breaking the Chains, Jaded Heart, etc....
George Lynch is probably the most under rated guitarists and if you want to see him shred check out Mr Scary but for an awesome Dokken song, and i my opinion the best, please react to in My Dreams.
Jam!
Crisp riffs by George, what's not to love? Try "Alone Again".
You have to listen to kiss of death by them!!
Check out our Dokken Playlist on the channel!
You have to react to RATT! Out of the Cellar & Invasion Of Your Privacy Albums!! IMO the best hair band of the 80's!! Hands Down!🔥🔥🔥
Yeah George Lynch guys. Get into him. He's is one of heavy metals truly great guitarists. Still is to this day.
If you want to hear a song that highlights Don Dokkens voice, I recommend "Walk Away" off of the "Beast from the East" album. Awesome band. The guitarist is George Lynch..legend
We need some "Dream Warriors" up in here.
Ok guys. You got us here on the suggested link. Love it. Now, let's hit the big time. You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Check out "Kiss of Death" or "Lightning Strikes Again" for better vocals.
Amazing.
Ok guys, suggestion here. Check out Liliac , song is Mars live in Cumming GA. Family band your age and younger. Finally the younger generation gets it right😂. Thank me later 👍🏻
Check out the Under Lock and Key album. Probably their best production wise
Dokens best songs are Mr. Scary and Heaven sent, then alone again
Actually Don Dokken is one of the great singers in glam metal ever!
George Lynch is an outstanding guitarist. And Don Dokken as a frontman has a ton of outstanding vocals. Go deep into their songs and you'll see.
Lynch with the Ka cha goo goo haircut.
Definitely Dokken's finest hour in terms of being a commercial yet Heavy band. They got a bit softer after this although the songwriting was still high quality but this album rocks from front to back
If you guys are into hard rock, you should check out the Ian Astbury and The Cult.
If you like George Lynch in this, you've got to hear the cry of the Gypsy it's a very underrated song and Lynch wails through the whole song
George lynch, Eddie van halen and randy Rhoads came out of LA at the same time. All great players but randy is a another level still untouched today
Alot of great songs/videos by Dokken. Try The Hunter or Heaven Sent.
Y’all should check out the band Boston listen to Foreplay/Longtime or More Than a feeling or anything from their debut album promise you’ll like it.
Dokken rules
Glad to see no broccoli hair in the making of this video
This song doesn’t showcase how good Don Dokken’s vocals are. This was in their early stages. They have a slew of good songs. I strongly recommend “Kiss of Death” which is voted their best song by most fans & critics.
Check out dokken breaking the chains paris in my dreams

You share my opinion. I think their singer is kinda weak.
Lynch moved on And formed a band called “Lynch Mob”. Need to check a couple of those tunes out.
George Lynch one of the best of all time
Lynch Mob
RATT next!!
Yeah, sadly, Don Dokken's vocal are the weakest part of Dokken. George Lynch is a definitive 80s shredding guitar god.
Typical of 80s rock Very compressed mix. Boosted mids. With the digital CD's top and bottom rolled off. Please dont listen to anything that Don sings today....
Cheese! Pure cheese! I liked them in the 80's but can't stand it now!
Great studio band but man the suck in concert.. seem dozens of concerts and they are the worst.. Dons vocals were horrible. Had 2 of their cassettes
It is really generic for the era..great warm up opening act..that is it
Check out Mr Scary by them. George Lynch is guitarists name. he was a guitar god in the 80’s
