What the hell. He looks and sounds amazing. Wtf are people criticizing? That he's not as energetic as he was when he was 28? He's 55 let him chill on stage a little, he's been putting a lot of effort into his singing and it shows.
yeah i think that ppl complaining abt his energy dont really see that he’s coming back to form. each show after another he’s finding that joy again and definitely giving his all preforming better than the past couple years by a long shot (no disrespect to his past performances). im happy he’s getting better ^^
I kinda have to agree with other commentators that these new performances miss something (although of course I love the voice, the look, the effort). I kinda liked his bad shows from 2010s. There was something very sincere about this chubby absinthe-fueled middle-aged lazily tortured rockstar that I found compelling. Also, its noticeable that his voice is almost destroyed again after 7-8 shows. We'll see. Wish him well with all my heart
He still getting used to performing sober. He sounds great and looks great!.... but the tortured/dangerous artistry is still trying to find a way to channel on the new frequency. Or something. Because it's good to avail yourself of demons but they do take a certain part of your spirit when they go. He is still missing that part on stage so far.

I was at this show and he looked and sounded better than he ever has. He stole the show IMO.
