So much time & effort just to move it a few feet compaired to when it's connected to it's excavator - which is strong enough to use it as a scoop to move mountains of earth...
No gloves while welding, no safety glasses yeah this is definitely a "safety first" place to work. I bet their sign saying "this many days since accident" stays at 0 or 1. Their safety is binary.
Two pad eyes on the either side of the bucket would have made rigging much easier 🤷♂️hopefully you'll not be putting so much stress on d slings rubbing d edges.

Never seen someone actually use those cheap ass hand held masks that are given away with welders. Also pretty rare seeing someone weld without gloves. Think maybe that combo was why the guy with the grinder was spending so much time cleaning up the newly welded areas.
@@MrThisIsMeToo I don't believe I have but I that being said I see the guy wearing gloves when carrying cables so obviously they aren't so poor they can't afford gloves and considering a cheap flip style hood is like $10 I'm sure they could afford that too. Maybe some other people can't but these guys can and that's what's BS. People who have no concern for their safety are the first to bitch and complain and talk about how unfair life is when they get hurt. That I have seen many many times first hand.
Weight distribution is another reason. Say they would have loaded it length wise without tying it down. It’s more likely the bucket will want to rock off the trailer on a turn. Due to the rounded shape of the bucket. Fuck, I’m nerding out over here, sorry about that. 😅
I’m just amazed at the size of that bucket!
That's a nice little bucket!!! :-)) Best regards from Germany.

The older looking gentleman, clean jeans and shirt/undershirt working on the bucket? I get the impression he came out of the office for the video.

Don't understand why they loaded bucket like that, length wise it would have fit better and not hung off sides so much.
Look how they secure the bucket on the trailer. 8.52. I think it would be difficult to secure it lenghtwise.
