Thinkific: I'm expensive and don't do everything. If you want to do everything, please pay more and good luck integrating it all.
Podia: I do everything and I'm less expensive than the stuff you have to buy to get Thinkific to hopefully string together everything.

PODIA is a no-brainer. You guys are gonna sweep the competition to the gutter with yo' digital swag.

Can I set up my course where students have the option to skip a section of a module to continue to completion? I plan to have sections that are "optional" and people may not want to sit through them.

Thanks for sharing comparison. In the comparison section you didn’t mention course certificates. Are there plans to add that soon or integrations to support?

A big plus for Thinkific is the possibility of student discussion communities, which I know students love. Maybe Podia could think of adding this.

As far as I can tell, Thinkific's student discussion communities are just comments? Podia has (1) comments for all online courses, (2) discussion threads for any membership posts you create, and (3) built-in Messaging that allows for 1:1 discussion as well. 👍

you can also say : certificates, assignments, html editing, course reviews, seo editing, and all the little features that Thinkific has and that Podia doesn't have because it's a basic tool

Thinkific's community is super basic. members of the community aren’t notified when a post is made, leaving many posts going unresponded to. There’s no simple like button for people to show agreement or to simply acknowledge a post. If a person makes a mistake in their post, not only can they not edit it, they also cannot delete it. Post notifications, like buttons, and the ability to edit or delete a post are all VERY basic functions any community should have.
