I do love to see the incredible talent from Vox flourishing on their own. It’s like a second Buzzfeed implosion, where you just realize “oh, the videos weren’t good because of the company, it’s because of these people”.
Excited to see more videos, and I even saw the SF Standard station last week!
I was thinking the exact same thing. It's like a wholesome buzzfeed-situation. Where instead of being thrown out or leaving because they were treated badly the people leaving only have good things to say about vox.
And the people leaving are actually good journalists instead of beauty influencers.
Something must have really been done very very well at Vox' management.
After Johnny and Cleo and seeing you ramp up your own work i was waiting for this to happen. Can't wait to see what's next for you now that you go full time!

@@renegadepuppy The thing with Harris is that he's trying to maximize the number of eyeballs. That comes at the expense of accuracy to an extent, but compared to almost everyone with his reach, he's extremely accurate. Yes, a lot of his videos are 'superficial' but people who aren't mega nerds need accurate reporting as well.
I sure miss Good-Vox. Oh well, the people that made it good seem to be doing well, so that's good.

Vox still makes great content. And had these guys stuck around, it would have stifled a new generation of reporters and investigators from being able to shine as well. If anything it's only upside for the viewer.
