- Take a front seat ride on Steel Taipan at Dreamworld located on the Gold Coast, Australia in our 4K POV. This Mack Rides Launch Coaster opened at the park in 2021 and features a multi-pass triple launch track with a vertical spike. Steel Taipan has 4 inversions and reaches a top speed of 65mph. The ride also features a spinning car on the back of the train!

Just wondering how you managed to convince them to allow a camera on the ride? They keep stopping cameras, even when worn in a harness.
Just rode this with my daughter today, several times. Fantastic ride. The beginning is intense.

I went on this ride quite a bit, and honestly it’s much faster in person. For anyone thinking about going on the ride, do it!!
This ride was scary but actually fun and that the fact I felt like I was goons fall with very sweaty hands

@@Beth-yo9gpyou wont fall off. There are safety restraints that prevent you from falling off and you are more likely to get struck by lightning 50 times than to fall off a roller coaster. The chances of falling out is 1 and 750 million.
Lol i went on this amazing ride like 6 times today and at 1:47 you actually get airtime, like you actually come off your seat and get pushed against the seatbelt bars
OMG at first I though it was just another Blue Fire and when it drove backwards I thought how could the power be not enough but it's actually much more than that!
I'm a huge fan of the "Gold Coaster". I can't wait to ride Steel Taipan.

awesome ride. fkin amazing. Blown away. my favourite rides used to be; the claw and giant drop. this blows it out the water. the last spiral kills. for ultimate views would recommend first front or last back. did both and the middle and the middle is amateur. back was definitely my fave.

Definitely an awesome ride but just doesn’t compare to DC rivals hyper coaster at movie world. Although I Gotta admit dreamworld always has shorter queues and dreamworlds fastpass system is 100x better than movie worlds
Interesting take. Haven't been to moviworld in over 10 years. Went on the steel Taipan today. Was fantastic I went on the cyclone (or whatever it's called now) after and felt almost nothing.
Basically a swing launch blue fire but still looks like an enjoyable roller coaster

I’d go on this, my favorite thing about launch coasters is just screaming then getting off the ride and going on it again, I went to movie world last December and decided to go on the green lantern with my friends and one of our support workers it was great then we went on it another 3 times with another support worker
Wow. That's a REALLY long ride.
I was going to go on this one but there was a HUGE lineup that took an HOUR. I waited 20 minutes and the guy said '40 more minutes' so I ended up not going on this one

There is one corkscrew that feels like your gonna fall of the ride
The last corkscrew and it’s my fav part too
The part where the coaster just ends (this is at the start) just feels like your gonna fly out of the seat (Yes, I have gone on this exact coaster)

Why couldn’t it just start with a backwards launch and proceed to run through the Layout? I mean the launches would give at least a little kick and the capacity would increase…

This was an (almost) empty train before the park opened for the day.
It feels much faster on ride!
We just did this ride..its 105km/hr ..its way faster than it looks here...😅

TBF you would say that, it was probably conditional on getting free entry.
POVs are never faithful to the actual ride. This ride feels a lot faster and more aggressive in person.
