I always use a bright green ink in my BENU Talisman "Four Leaf Clover" pen. Right now it's filled with Monteverde "Key Lime Pie" ink and I'm really enjoying it. 🍀
Wearingeul's "Call of the Cthulhu" is a green that leans toward teal with a beautiful ability to shade into an almost "Eldritch" looking green. Beautiful color! I also enjoyed Kobe ink's Sourakuen Green Tea ink, especially in a stub nib! Terrific shading there!
Oh man! I really love Call of the Cthulhu.. the sheen is beautiful - I have the “matching” Cthulhu Sailor 1911L! And I must check out the Kobe ink as well.. I’m a sucker for the greenish teals I must say.
Have you heard about the significance of using green ink in letters? From the internet: "The phrase "green ink letter" is a classic term in British journalism. It originated as a descriptor for the quirky, passionate, and verbose letters sent to editors, often written in green ink. These letters were known for their unusual capitalization, excessive exclamation marks, and a variety of offbeat insights. Journalists quickly identified these as the hallmark of the "green-ink brigade," a term that evokes a sense of both eccentricity and fervent passion." Ever since I learned about this, I want to write all of my letters with green ink! My favorites are Robert Oster's River of Fire, J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor, Monteverde California Teal, and Wearingeul Tick Tock Croc and For Whom the Bell Tolls!
I haven’t heard that before, how interesting! I love that and will have to read about that a little more closely for sure!! 💚🙏🏽 (and omg, your list is amazing! I absolutely plan on making a teal video as well and so many of those you listed are also faves of mine!).
I have way too many green inks, but one that always rises to the top is Diamine Umber. Your selection is really nice. FWP Dancing Thyme is new to me - it's beautiful. It reminds me of Robert Oster Avocado - a little bit.
Oooo!! Umber looks lovely! Reminds me of FWP Spruce County Post (which I also love!) - and I’ve heard good things about Robert Oster Avocado as well! There’s just TOO many good green inks, I must say 😝
My favorite color too!!! 😂 I think I will definitely be trying samples of the Ferris wheel press Peter Moss and Dancing thyme. My favorite green is FWP Moss Park Green but I'm always on the hunt for the perfect sage green color.
Love green inks!! I have Dancing Thyme inked up for August. Such a great ink. Peter Moss was one of my favorite greens for the longest time. I just got Galeforce green and am so tempted to ink it up. Part 2? ummm yes please ☺
The only green i own is Jacques Herbin Vert Olive. Although its name, in paper is more like a lime yellow green so i have mixed it, with black ink in order to look like more olive and dark. The iroshizuku one, is the next to my list. I think that with Momiji together will make perfect christmas cards. 😅
I have a sample of Vert Olive and like it quite a bit ☺️💕- love that you’ve darkened it up though; I bet that’s pretty! And yes! The iroshizuku one would be SO good for Christmas cards 😍
Your #1 made me think of Sailor Shikiori shitoshito, I really like it. It's bluer on white paper and greener on ivory. But maybe you would consider it as a blue.
Thanks so much for watching! Let’s talk green inks (should there be a part 2?) - what are your favorites?? 💚
I’m very partial to De Atramentis Jane Austen. The most beautiful green with a hint of gray. 💚🩶
@jessicaburris629 that sounds lovely! Will be checking that out, thank you!

Wow! That seems like a great match for that Talisman 💚🤌🏽 (that’s a bright tangy green, super fun one)
Your hand movement is 🤌🤌 😂 I honestly had no idea how interesting ink and color would be! I really loved number 3. Keep up the good work Julia!!
Thanks Jane!! Isn’t it mesmerizing?! 🤩 (thank you for watching and commenting and being supportive. Means a lot 🥹)
Shin ryoku is amazing. I also love Private Reserve Ebony Green.. dark and fantastic. Great vid.
Thank you!! The way Shin Ryoku has become a go to.. 👏🏽- I will also check out ebony green (love private reserve so I’m sure it’s fabulous)

Oh my!! I just googled a swatch and that looks absolutely gorgeous! Adding it to my ever-growing wish list 😍 - thanks for mentioning this one 👏🏽

Yes yes and yes! Galeforce Green is a stunner too! (Ferris Wheel Press does greens very well apparently 😅)💕

I don’t know if I’ve seen that one! Must check it out because I love a neat color shift like that, thank you for putting it on my radar!
My favorite green inks are muddy with brown undertones.
Sort of like Troublemaker Kelp Tea?! (I love those too!) what are some of your favorite muddy ones??
@@julia-here I’ve not tried that one but I’ll add it to my list. My favorite atm is Sailor Manyo Shirakashi I also love Robert Oster Detox
