Wearingeul's "Call of the Cthulhu" is a green that leans toward teal with a beautiful ability to shade into an almost "Eldritch" looking green. Beautiful color! I also enjoyed Kobe ink's Sourakuen Green Tea ink, especially in a stub nib! Terrific shading there!

Love seeing new planner styles, the reusable is so smart.

Instead of drawing the state flag just draw the shape of the state 😊

You're right, the personal info really should be at the beginning of the journal. The cover is very nice and practical and the little flower badge/button is so cute. 😇💜🙏🙌

I like how you organized and thought out this ink journal. I use an A6 notebook as my ink journal. I only list my pens and what ink I’ve tried with each pen since I started the journal earlier this year.

What a goal to not buy inks until next fall...if you find yourself needing something new I might know a girl who can help you out. 😜Great ideas for an ink journal, I think I am going to steal the new pen and ink day spreads. I was going to go with another stalogy notebook, but the planner format is tempting.

Love your ink journal setup!! I've only been in the fountain ink world for about a year so this is so inspiring for me.

Excellent choice of inks and pens. The Kaweco is my favourite pairing because I really like using my Kaweco Sport pens but great choices, every single swatch 😊

I use a Clairefontaine book as my journal, mostly to record purchases, sample new inks, answer pen questions... I also have a small notebook to keep track of inked pens and when I filled or cleaned them. My last book is only for pens; each page has a picture of the pen, description, price... and a short writing sample every time I use a different ink. Your journals are beautiful!

did NOT know about the function of that plastic disc in the FWP inks. I almost threw one away because it keeps flopping down when i open my inks. thank goodness i was too lazy to do that. LOL. Love your color palette this month. Age of Aurum is going on my list.

Beautiful combos! I think the Weeping Willow with Calico is my favorite, the chromoshading in ink represents the color variety in the pen so well.

Love this combination of colors! Especially that you included some muted greens in here. One of my fall color schemes I used for October was just too warm - I like that little bit of green still in this collection. Those first two - Abandoned Shipyard and Afternoon Tea… 👀 they’re going on my list!

i prayed for you, about your coming dr visit. i hope all goes well and you won't have to have anymore. these are wonderful fall colors and remind me of the lichens and spotting of oaks and leaves as fall set in. dry and dusty indian summer, full of sage like scents and warm dry leaves, hay bales that smelled like tea leaves, and dust and dust devils popping up, wearing a crown of coloered leaves, emeralds, rubies, and yellow citrines. i stooped down and scooped up clear water from a sparkling brook running over ancient orange and brown rocks. i hope you get to experience the beauty of such a moment like that afternoon on our cattle farm in the rolling foothills of the Ozarks.

I really want to keep track of my pens and inks like this! Right now I have an ink journal that STARTED in color order, but now I’ve gotten new inks….. which is why I want to switch to rings lol

I use a Sterling Ink B5 520 notebook to track my fountain pens and inks. Its a big notebook and I'm considering maybe adding some type of ringed planner like this to have handy...
