Started going back to school this year and I have to say this is one of, if not the best channel out there for brushing up or learning math, science, and so many other subjects. I know I speak for many when I say THANK YOU for putting in the time and effort to make these videos. Hands down one of the best teachers out there
Just graduated last spring. First college class is intermediate algebra. Thank you for refreshing my anxious brain. Praying for the determination to continue 🙏 thank you!!
I'm watching this as a refresher. I have been watching your videos for a year and you've helped me with chemistry, calculus, linear algebra, thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this video. I am going to college. I graduated about 6 years ago from High School. One of my first classes is intermediate algebra.
Good luck to you. I had to take Intermediate Algebra my first year as well because I didn't do too good in High School Algebra. However, with help from RUclips, it should not be too hard. Wish you the best!
You know what!!! High School was full of distractions holy shit! It was so hard then but now since I'm sitting in my room looking this up because I'm trying to get a job that requires a math test of pre-k - 12 grade math I'm back to see how its done. I got this!
I'm planning on going back to school to earn my degree in mortuary science. I'm terrible at math, I just never got the hang of it. I've been watching your videos to refresh my memory of algebra I took as an 8th grader over 20 years ago!!! Some of it is sticking, some of it I feel completely lost about. The main problem I'm having is knowing what step or rule to follow with the problems and knowing the differences on how to handle them. I know millions have gotten the hang of algebra before me and I'm sure I will too. Once I start to understand it a little better, I will work on taking this class in real life. Thank you for your videos! I'm watching any chance I get.
I took Intermediate Algebra in my first semester at Estrella in the Fall of 2018, failed it because not only was it hard in my opinion, but the teacher didn’t explain the material clearly and the exams were beyond different than what we learned. I retook it again fall last year, and this time I passed it! Made it all the way. Most of the material we went through was not that bad, plus most of the exams were easy, kinda similar to the study guides. In the end, I passed them all, as well as the final! Now, I’m taking college algebra this semester and so far it’s not that bad! It does get a little harder later on, but my first two exams for that class weren’t that bad. I did decent in the first and better in the second. I’m currently passing that class with an 81.6%.
If I tell my childrens yet unborn that I have encountered such a phylanthropist who makes me love mathematics physics chemistry all in not any other person but Mr organic tutor sir may God continue to bless and give you more wisdom in the universe. You are so amazing and your teaching makes me love science in particular when comes in calculations.your explanation is explicit and well understand thank you very much for your inspiration and the zeel you given to some of who never understand this topics since we started our schooling.
I'm a first-year college right now, but I'm a little behind because I didn't take my studies seriously in junior high. Back then, I realized I wasn't worthy of being in senior high school when I had to enroll. So, to catch up on my previous math classes, I've been watching your videos over and over until now. I'm not sure how to express my gratitude to you, but please be safe and have a good health, sir. God bless.
Wow, how does this page not have enough likes and subscriptions!! Thank you so much! I'm really thankful I'm trying really hard to learn math and pass my college finals this year and more to come
I failed Math 125 at ELAC last semester (Fall 2020) and I’m glad that I’m gonna retake it next years Spring so I can pass it! Next time when I take it I’m gonna do tutoring so I can get some help so I don’t fail again!
@11:37 when you subtracted both sides by 5 I instead added. I thought that if theres a minus or plus sign you do the opposite when getting rid of both sides
My first intermediate algebra test is tomorrow. I'm 32 and last went to high school in 2008. I don't know if this video goes into FOIL or any complex stuff, but I'm 10 minutes in and already actually learning things. It shouldn't be allowed to take a college class without the teacher actually teaching.
At around 3:35 dude threw me off by saying multiply both sides by 3, then proceeds to multiply the right side by 3 but divides the left side by 3. I'm sure this makes sense if you already know what's going on... but I dont... and it screwed with me lol
I start Intermediate Algebra term and I’m happy I found a video that I can actually understand. Math has always been my weakest subject and in order to apply for the sonography program I have to pass Intermediate Algebra and Physics 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
to isolate 5x on one side of the equation since -60 + 60 = 0 that would automatically cancel out the -60 from the left side of the equation that would leave you with 5x = 111
I'm following this... And I still can't do this... I'm so terribly dyslexic, and after awhile, it just sounds like another language. I'm completely lost at the 5 minute mark. It just seems like the order of rules flip flop as the equations get more advanced. What's worse is, I can't get my degree unless I know this. This is a flat out nightmare
So I been checking out your videos an their spot on. Thanks for the help, just not sure why my friend says that I shouldn't study like this because I will make it harder on myself. I'm new to college an my friend already has there bachelor...what are your guys thoughts on this? obviously ill be using different means of studying but is he right should I study how he ended up studying?
In the first 5 minutes you need to explain why and how you choose a particular number to divide by. For example, how did you decide to divide by 3 or by 36? To someone who doesn’t have deeper understanding of math this seems arbitrary.
If I weren't for this pandemic I'd probably be repeating the 9th grade which would be my ultimate fear/nightmare so ya thanks Covid--19 and I am tryna be hella smart for 10th bc intermediate algebra is one of the classes chose to take 1 second ago

How did your class go? I graduated high school 4 years ago and I'm taking the same class in the semester coming up.
Trapdoor Majesty me too! I take Intermediate Algebra in the Fall and I haven’t had a math class since 2016 when I had Algebra 2

I take trigonometry in 3 months for college, and this is a so helpful, I have not taken algebra in 2 years and needed a refresher.
I absolutely love your channel!! Whoever you are THANK YOU❤❤
THANK YOU MAN! GOD BLESS YOU
Thank God for making this video! Keep up the awesome work!
@11:37 when you subtracted both sides by 5 I instead added. I thought that if theres a minus or plus sign you do the opposite when getting rid of both sides
yeah, I'm a little confused as well. On the - 2.
Shireen Christopher remember there’s an invisible plus with the 5 (+5)
Great video I understood you better than my high school teacher 😌👌🏼
finally someone who isnt confusing in their lecture
This helps so much...to be able to see this over and over.
I love your videos already, thank you for sharing them💙💯and give examples and more than one way
Thank you for the video, I just got into college at the age of 23 and I want to get this degree
Same boat I fuckin hate math as well

Hello! Even tho I’m 12 I was interested in this kind of math, so I figured to try it out. Thanks for teaching me!!!😀💅

ok but like... GOD BLESS this human being!!! Thank you sm!! im preparing for my aleks placement exam hdhjsdh

but 4*-3 = -12
so how come x = 4 and y = -3?
what is the symbol at 31:09 when he did "M = 2 (Special symbol or character) (1,3)"?
Am I the only sixth grader who needs this....um.my mom thought it was a good idea to give me this kind of math for quarantine practice.
I wish I've studied this too when I was on sixth grade. Goodluck, buddy. Ace your classes!
Same but I'm fourth grade
Thanks for the video man. Appreciated help..
7:19 why do we add 60?
to isolate 5x on one side of the equation
since -60 + 60 = 0 that would automatically cancel out the -60 from the left side of the equation
that would leave you with 5x = 111
19:26 lesser than know so left side right
Hopefully this vid helps, returning for pre calc and trig but haven’t done any of this since 2015
he is really good
He's incredible!
excellent! Thanks!
great job bro...
I have a college test tomorrow and I don't know potato crap, wish me luck :(
How did u do
Thank you for the video😌
This looks similar to my math 110 class. Its called first course in algebra. Its been a year since i took it so i kind of already forgot.
Thank you, also a negative as an absolute value is not an answer therefore, the only answer there is, is x=4
Im gr8 but already learning this
