An absolutely terrific rendition. When I was 17 years old, I went to a drive-in and watched all those spaghetti westerns from dusk till dawn. I’m going to be 70 years old this month. Love all those spaghetti westerns and the music associated with them. Thank you.
I played your version at a open mic in Northern California, I was playing a Mosrite through a Biyang tremolo pedal and Fender blues jr drenched in reverb, it went over well.
I was dialed in for every note of this beyond generous gift of understanding. I adore my instrument, and Morricone's work. Thank you! Thank you!!! Inspirational.... again. And I have Attention Deficit Disorder.... it melted away for your work!
I came back to mess around with this song, and watched till the end, and I see all the effects, now. A lesson to always watch till the end. That is one beautiful guitar, though!
Adrian. I've missed you! So glad to see a new video by you. You have been an amazing inspiration to me over the last year and for whatever reason, I've not seen a video of yours for a month or so. LOVE to watch and listen to you my friend. Just letting you know how much I appreciate you and am so happy to see you once again!
Brilliant and beautiful Adrian... as ever, going that extra step(s) making it your own in a sense. A remarkable piece. I went through the pain and enjoyment of learning this last year, and A Fist Full of Dollars. I would love to see and hear your version of For a Few Dollars More, that would be special. Many thanks Adrian.
Outstanding. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was the very first movie I saw in a theater and it made a big impression on me. The sound track has always been cool and haunting to me and this was just a great rendition.
As an F grade guitarist from the baby boomer period, I thank you for your analysis. Ive always been intrigued by that part of the passage where he starts playing triplets (da, da, dum.. da da dum). I first heard this song in 1968 (The Good, the Bad and the Badder😊). At the time, I didnt realise that this song was from a spaghetti western filmed in 1966, when Clint Eastwood was financially struggling. This song was released in 1968 and had moderate single success. I think it was Hugo Montenegro's version. He was the person wrote the theme music for " I Dream of Jeannie".
Oh my God that's beautiful. You're beautiful, Adrian. Thank you so much for this. I was mesmerized just watching you play in the intro. Wonderful stuff ❤️
Adrian just pure quality and very brave to show case guitar music that might otherwise be thought uncool. Great sound and playing Adrian pls keep up the good work, right now I don't think there is anything that can touch this on utube
Just...fantastic. Not just you're playing, which it obviously is, I've learned tons from your videos. Your approach is perfect (for me, at least). Keep it up!
Thanks, some parts are easy to follow but riffs with open and alternating strings like 9:53 is hard without slow motion. I love tabs. Some don't but for me it is all right there. I end up writing it as tab so I always have it. Hopefully I figure it out so I can play it by a campfire in the desert. So sweet.
Absolutely fantastic Adrian, always loved this one, thank you for putting this on, I look forward to learning this. I loved the original music that was written for the movie, it was just right it. Take care mate.
The California Guitar Trio do a version of this. I was in the audience in Ft. Worth Texas as they opened for King Crimson in the early '90s. All of a sudden my fist blowing of this lick was the perfect audience accompaniment to the song and got a good response from both on stage and off. My shining moment.

Happy Birthday Tim! Keep rockin'! I'll be 80 my next one if I make it! LOL

Its morphed Sounds like a smart man. Thanks for your comment. Stay well. Stay safe.
egads2 Excellent. Best wishes to you. Stay well. Stay safe.
Take care old brotha hope you lived a fullfilling life
Morricone was a musical genius. He created beautiful compositions. The creativity was off the scale.
As soon as he reaches for the switch I can feel my Colt 45. on my hip.
1:30
an underrated comment.
Took me a second, but damn that was funny.
Right on, Batman!
Damn that's a good comment
LOL That's worth a big laugh. I got my sawn off 4/10 down the back of my pants lol
Amazing Jazzmaster tones. Such a versatile guitar in the hands of a very accomplished and versatlie player - cheers Adrian!
yeah the clean tones on a Jazzmaster are pretty much the best you can get IMO
@@voteZDLRstill prefer a strat or tele but a JM is also great for this kinda stuff. Brilliant for jangly chords and the like.
You see, in this world there are two kinds of people my friend ....those with electric guitars and those who dig......I dig 👍
Hahahahahahahaha!!!
Very good!
i am a miner too
And I dig the electric guitar
hahahaha shit, good one
The scores by Morricone of the spaghetti westerns is stunning, excellent tribute to the maestro Adrian.
Never heard a Jazzmaster played so well before - superb interpretation and arrangement.
Brilliant solo guitar arrangement Adrian. Thanks for sharing with us and RIP Ennio!
Morricone himself would applaud this arrangement- absolutely beautiful tone
Amazing, mate. Tears in my eyes. Long live Ennio Morricone!
I played your version at a open mic in Northern California, I was playing a Mosrite through a Biyang tremolo pedal and Fender blues jr drenched in reverb, it went over well.
Thanks for this one. So many meta-lessons being imparted through each way you're playing it!! Really appreciate this tutorial!!!!!!!
As often as I've heard this piece, I never really listened to it so much as you just shocased it. Absolutely brilliant & beautiful. Thank you!
This is my favorite rendition of this song, amazing!!
Fwa Fwa wild west
He did the score for John Carpenter's "The Thing (1982)" which was probably Mo's most minimal sounding score of his career.
He also did many others. One of his most recent was Tarantino's "Hateful Eight". Brilliant score.
Best movie, best soundtrack, best guitar teacher!
Your arrangement of this tune for guitar is brilliant! It's got me glued to my laptop!
Fantastic interpretation, playing and tone Adrian. You are an inspiration.
I fucking love everything about this.
Just amazing! The JM was made for this. What versatility especially in the hands of someone so skilled. Bravo!
I was dialed in for every note of this beyond generous gift of understanding. I adore my instrument, and Morricone's work. Thank you! Thank you!!!
Inspirational.... again. And I have Attention Deficit Disorder.... it melted away for your work!
Really enjoyed this. Nice explanations, clear camera angles, and amazing sound. Thanks for sharing this.

The Ventures meet Morricone...... quite brilliant! Nice bit of work sir.
I've spent about 2 days on and off learning this - not quite there yet on the fast bit but oh man is this soooooo much fun to learn
Magnificent, Adrian. Brilliant as always. The 12 philistines who gave this a thumbs down are horribly benighted.
Brilliant
Thank You for taking the time to compose an arraignment for this piece, beautifully done Sir.
This is brilliant! I love this kind of thing. And the tribute to Moriconne is a perfect complement to the surf tunes you’ve been teaching.
I came back to mess around with this song, and watched till the end, and I see all the effects, now. A lesson to always watch till the end. That is one beautiful guitar, though!
What a beautiful version of the classic. Very soulful arrangement. Great use of cording. Thanks for the fantastic lesson!
Absolutely loved this.. grew up watching spag westerns .. gonna nail this tonight.
Great job arranging this as well as the instruction. This was a really creative piece and was a critical element of that movie.
Adrian. I've missed you! So glad to see a new video by you. You have been an amazing inspiration to me over the last year and for whatever reason, I've not seen a video of yours for a month or so. LOVE to watch and listen to you my friend. Just letting you know how much I appreciate you and am so happy to see you once again!
Absolutely love this! So much, @ 55 I’m going to learn how to play this on an acoustic instrument!
Brilliant and beautiful Adrian... as ever, going that extra step(s) making it your own in a sense. A remarkable piece. Beautiful interpretation of this classic Addy!
👍🇦🇺
Great playing. Hank Marvin, he of The Shadows fame, did a version of this a few years ago whish is pretty good also.
Gotta be honest, I was expecting the Ecstasy of Gold with loopers and modulations to mimic French horns and shit. Pretty cool tho
Same here
Perfect tone for the song .
Great job. Lovely arrangement. Look forward to learning this !
Wonderful!
Great playing and beautiful tones.
Absolutely fantastic! 🔥
What a great arrangement, so tasteful. Thank you very much

Epic
Last summer I went to Almería, where all those films where filmed. Lots of local stories about it!
Spaghetti Surf Ambient. Loved it Adrian. Really great video, thanks for sharing.
This is great. Lovely tone. A good lesson and a fitting tribute.
Greatest western ever, love this tune and now I’ll have to learn it. Should sound just as good as this on my Jaguar.
You are such a great player, I immensely enjoyed this video.
Great performance and arrangement! You are and awesome musician!!
Marvelous rendition. Thank you!
Love the sound you've managed with that guitar matey.
Nice, you always pick interesting songs and compositions, and this one is a great choice
Man that Jazzmaster has a great clean tone. An overlooked Fender and an alternative to Strat & Tele. Digging that tremelo bar too.
Superb rendition!
