I've found that using a 160 can make really nice spines cus they can be long and skinny and you can give then a nice point if you massage them a lil.

I also used a 160 in a different shade of the same color. I find it adds a little more wow for the kids.

Awesome design and you do a great job of instruction! Just one comment, Could you tell how much of a tail to leave when inflating instead of saying how much of the balloon to inflate?

what if you tried doing one small one inch bubble on the end and then two small one inch pinch twists to make a nicer spike that is what I did and it looks great.

So once I made a dog and when I was done with the dog balloon i left it in my room and a minute later I went to check on it and it was everywhere it popped and I forgot I put to much air in it and I made a cat later when I was done it popped in my face asoon I left it alone because it was going to fall on a thumbtack and I will never make a gallon animal again

from where do u buy these balloons and what are they called

a good brand is Qualatex. These are 260Q. THey are about 2 inches in diameter. A 160Q is about an inch in diameter. A 360Q is about 3 inches. I bought mine from amazon, 100 for 10$. You need a pump too. It is not easy at all to blow them up with your mouth. I use an old basketball pump with a weird attachment that I use for my exercise ball... but yeah a pump on amazon is about $10 too. In a pimch, a handheld basketball pump with a regular needle on it can work.
