Hiking Bukhansan - Seoul's tallest mountain 🍁 autumn leaves, cats, and Halloween sunset

The mountains are one of my favourite places to be here in Korea, especially in autumn. I hope I've managed to convey even a fraction of Bukhansan's beauty through this video.

Hi there :)
I think this time took us about 2 hours, but I tend to average about 1.5 hours! However, I'm going at a fast pace and I take the shorter, steeper 'difficult course'. The 'easy course' is about twice the length but much less steep.
I would also recommend taking in the sights so I would say 2.5-3 hours is a rough guide on how long it would take to reach Baekundae peak, including some rests. The view is incredible and so worth it :)

Hi there!
There are several different ways you can get to the trail. I personally take the subway to Bulgwang station and head out exit 8. From there I walk to Bulgwang station line 3.6 bus (12021) and from there there are several buses that take you directly to Bukhansan fortress entrance (북한산성 입구), e.g. 704. After exiting the bus, you can follow the road up to the park entrance, and from there you can take either the shorter, intermediate trail or the longer, easy trail up to the trailhead. You then have the choice of the difficult course or the easier course. I take the difficult course up to Baekundae peak :)
