However Until Dawn does actually have the choices affect how characters interact with each other and respond to things without player control, and there's actually multiple endings and multiple reactions from characters to the "same" ending. Compared to games like Life is Strange and stuff you have a bunch of choices that don't really change anything and only two endings that both render 90% of your previous decisions or 99% of your previous decisions pointless. So yeah, for a decade old game, Until Dawn did great when you compare it to the other games it's actually compared to. No hate to As Dusk Falls tho but I guess in my brain it's very different because it kinda came out of no where? The other games in UD's bracket are older, and even the newer ones are more comparable because they're from the same studios as the old ones so it feels only right to compare them.
The actor playing Josh is Raimi Malek. He was known for a couple of roles, but the one I remember most distinctly was Safin from 007 No Time to Die. Say what you want about the movie or his character, but Malek has good acting range from typical horror trope teen/young adult to a calm, collected, and chilling villain like Safin.
He is also probably most well known to general audiences as either Elliot from Mr Robot, Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, or if you’re really cultured, Pharoah Ahkmenrah in the Night at the Museum movies. He was also most recently in Oppenheimer as well.
Finally, some YT content that's actually GOOD Edit: I'm actually blown away at this remake. It's night and day compared to the original and it's obvious now just how rushed the 2015 version was. Original release had the characters dialogue sounding like they were coming from a walkie talkie, this remake is an insane level of polish. I'm pleased they were able to remake the game with what is probably their original vision for it.

With everything else though, you should look around a bit more e.g. dont click the drop down options cos then you cant go back so make sure to check the entire area before progressing because finding extra clues and totems can really help a lot e.g. to save a character or to put the mysteries together (and imo makes it a lot more fun as it fleshes out the lore more). also make sure to turn around the clues as sometimes theres something important on the back.

Hey jet, just something I wanted you to know while it’s still early bc I think most people get confused about this. If you find a black totem, it means it’s a death that may or may not happen to the player who *found* it. That’s why it tells you who found each totem in the menu. And the loss totems (brown) that means it’s *not* the person who found it but one of their friends. I’m not sure if you’ll see this or if it will help but I wanted to try to help make it less confusing later on.
After this please play the Dark anthology series like Man of Medan, Little Hope, and especially House of Ashes which is in my opinion the 2nd best game under until dawn and my personal favorite.
