@Sidewynders Shed thank you for making these awesome and informative videos for us! It's so great the magnum manifolds from a 5.2/5.9 will bolt right on and work with an LA block. I'm planning on hitting my local pick n pull to grab a set for my 1990 LA 318! (My manifolds are rotting away and much too restrictive)
Thank you for watching and commenting. Don't forget on a 1990 LA you'll need to plug the "smog holes" in the heads. Here's a link to a video showing how to do that. ruclips.net/video/an41Qi6MDnc/видео.htmlsi=l_KCWESly6gHU_W0
IMO, even a smog 318 from 1975 will love headers, and will kick-azz with nothing but a 4bbl and a nice convertor, and best of all, will give a nice boost in mpg; paying for the headers in a short time in fuel-savings alone. Notta chance would I wig out on buying headers.
Nice info. As much as I love power....I think I'm keeping the old finned header. It just looks so cool. The character just appeals to me for some reason.
Thanks for watching and commenting👍😁. Just changing those LA exhaust manifolds over to the magnum style ones should let that engine breathe alot better. You will need to plug the "smog" holes in the heads. (Not hard) ruclips.net/video/an41Qi6MDnc/видео.html

I see no problem with that.
Sometimes the esthetics matter more. 👍😁
Those small holes can be plugged by driving a small screw in and grinding off the head the screw
great video, and man..... I dig the looks of that engine. Great job man.
Thank you!
😁
Interesting; that magnum manifold resembles the early 340 manifold.
