    Don't forget you can transpose to a philidor after d3 e5 Nf3 d5 e4 ... But you are a tempo up !
I've got some deep prep on the d4 d6 c4 line btw. If you are interested

gooood! I used this in my youth. Also in same spirit the 'king indian attack' the 'reverse Alechiene' or 'grunfeld' and mostly 'siclian'

Good advice Solomon. Funny thing is that if White starts with g3 & plays like a hyper accelerated dragon Sicilian he can deny black the Marocy bind set up (e4/c4) & get in the classic Sicilian freeing move d4 in one go.. but for some reason the computer STILL does NOT give White an edge! Of course, Black is down a tempo in the hyper accelerated dragon with colors reversed & can’t play quite so aggressively as White normally would but SF still says White has no real edge I guess because black has freedom for his pieces and no static weaknesses.

Thanks Robert! And ya good thoughts. This is very interesting! Always trippy playing black chess openings (but for white) and seeing how the engine responds to positions. I've found sometimes that the engine sometimes doesn't like them so much as the opponent has not over extended their pieces so much yet. Less to go after.

Hey Solomon, thanks for the nice Opening Videos. I would like to see a Video about the Jobava-London-System.
I think it has to be strong, because it was used by Niemann and Rappord very often.
Maybe youre interested in this Opening too?
Keep on Going! Greetings from Germany

A very interesting opening for White. Seems to be underrated in my opinion. I have the feeling that these kind of reversed-black openings with a tempo up for White should give benefit to him.
My thought is Black is surprised and thus could be brought into positions that he is not familiar with. Same idea as the Anderson’s opening but Mieses seems to be the better choice because White is still playing a center pawn up in stead of a pawn on the edge.
The Mieses opening does not look to be agressive but it supports all the principles of playing a sound opening. Black best replies at his first move could be e5 or c5 but in both cases White should be able to finish his opening in a good position. It could even lead to positions in which White has even far higher chances of winning or drawing than Black.
My thought is also that using Mieses could be good as well to avoid opening traps. There are so many opening traps nowadays in any kind of opening and I just cannot know them all. The Mieses opening seems to be quite uncommon and therefore the chance of falling into an opening trap as White is low. Starting with d3 and then just playing normal, sound moves White could reach a good middle game position quite easily and from then on it is just a matter of playing chess!
So, for me this is a very interesting opening, worth to try and maybe even put in my own repertoire.
Thank you and greetings from the Netherlands!

Thanks for these great thoughts! And ya it is always interesting to think of things from the black perspective. The Mieses Opening is "bad" but the Pirc Defense is good. The Saragossa Opening is "bad" but the Caro-Kann Defense is good. I think we can benefit from rethinking how we approach the game as white. And ya I like your thoughts on the Mieses being a good way to feel things out as we use a center pawn + we will be safe from chess opening traps. Nobody studies for the Mieses, so if you play it and learn a lesson every game you will have a huge edge in preparation and comfortibility, which goes a long way! Thanks again, and greetings from the United States!
      Thanks,
      Solomon

so i use two moves as white every time queen pawn opening and queens gambit if they play the mieses then the gambit useless so i dont bother with it unless they use queen pawn opening later then i would consider gambit

@@TheChessGiant i always play D4 to prepare for the queen Gambit unless black completely ignores D4 by not playing D4 also then I branch out to different book move such as trompowsky if he tries the Indian game or mieses which I'm at beginner at still I'm still learning to counter most blacks moves
