During the non-hunting season, I can clean after every range trip. During hunting season, I don't want a heavy clean because checking zero gets the rifle dirty. That being said, I don't have any dirt in there. After season, I can clean it.
Rule 1, never leave your moderator attached to the barrel when not using the rifle. It will cause corrosion to the threads and cause so much heartbreak in the long run…
Depends on the use case. IMHO... Rimfire and Centerfire are very different animals and cleaning on rimfires should be done more often. Centerfire competition rifles with a lot of rounds, running around in the dirt and such, maybe after ever competition. Dedicated hunting rifles maybe once after the season if its not dirty with environmental debris. Regardless the cleaner you keep your tools the better they work and longer they will last. :-)
No cleaning required for the 6 creedmoor. By the time you think you need to clean it, its time to replace the barrel.
Only state of dirty you can consistently reproduce is clean… clean after every match, range session, or hunt.
Every time I shoot.... it's an addiction

What mirage band you running?
Im going 230/250 rounds before cleaning. Needs to last an entire 2 day match without cleaning.
Bleach and ammonia. Works really well to get the gunk out.
Rule 25 kiss it after cleaning for good luck

Clean your rifle when it stops working
