The Six Stars of World Major Marathons was my journey for the past 10 years, which has now come to an end at the Tokyo Marathon.
Completing a total of 30 marathons is a great accomplishment, and it's something that my family and I are proud of.
Although I will be taking a break from racing to preserve my knees for old age, my passion for running will never die.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my peers, friends, and relatives, for their continued support, and to Canada, which provided me with the opportunity to achieve this milestone!
I'm not really into keeping track of stats or records, but apparently, only 691 Canadians have completed the six majors and I'm ranked 14th. Life is good!
