  • @mattchensan
    @mattchensan 3 года назад +8

    I was really disappointed that I couldn't use my GPU horizontally due to the riser cable because it was a point that Meshilicious advertised and a lot of other reviewers highlighted but you guys are the only ones that pointed out that out of the box, you can't use an ITX GPU horizontally.
    I don't blame them for not including the cable but I do blame them for neither making it easy to find out at all that this isn't a configuration you can do right out of the box (when they were pretty thorough about other configurations and limitations) nor providing an option to buy the cable. I tried to get help from customer service and they kept on insisting twice that you could buy it from them. FYI, if you're in NA, you can't buy a riser cable from them, so you're fucked unless you chance it with a third-party riser.
    I bought the case and components with the hope I could have some extra storage with the storage bracket but I was forced to do a build without the riser cable I wanted because I didn't know that it wouldn't be possible out of the box and I was nervous of compatibility from buying it from somewhere else. Customer service was unhelpful as shit because I can't buy it from them and they didn't tell me where I could buy it with assurance of compatibility.

Also a simple mod which I've done and is definitely worth it is setting the case to 4 slot pcie mode and using 25mm standoffs on the pcie riser screws. Well... Jamming an Arctic Freezer II 280mm was the biggest pain in the 4 letters, while also being my most satisfying achievement when building a PC. Managing the cables alone took me about 3 hours and i had to fully disassemble and reassemble the whole god damned thing 4 times. BUUUT! It was all totally worth it! I love this case. It is as small as my XBox Series X which i sold afterwards. Everything runs super cool and quiet because of the meshing housing. Using this thing for about one year for my Living Room TV (mainly Single Player Story Games and Emulation) i am considering to replace my main Gaming PC with one ITX system. Maybe a Second Meshlicious. My biggest concern, why i haven't done it in the first place were noise and cooling. But i am convinced now.

    It’s an amazing case and I’ve been very happy with it. It might be even easier to build in than the NR200.
    Wiring is easy but making your cable management look good is kinda tough. Especially if you’re using any 2.5” drives or have an aio with a bunch of cables coming out of it.
    Keeps my 5800 (which is notorious for running hot) at around 80c on load. 3070 has never gone past 80c either.
    For the price I think it’s the iTX case to beat this year.

    Looks like its limited to certain parts, definitely sucks they make u buy exhaust fan mounts and legs, One major design flaw is appears the GPU vertical mount is too close the pci slots covers in back which means you cant easily buy some pci slot covers with built in usb and hdmi ports to extend and aesthetically mount so u can plug and play freely But force you to have to run cables through a small exposed ugly hole, It looks like they have enough room to mount the GPU over to the left more so you could utilize the pci slots.

    This would be my case if mine gaming x trio would fit. It doesn't fits so i went for the NR200.

    1:52 Can someone tell me one is the case on the left of the Meshlicious there? Thanks for putting it next to the Corsair One as well, I am looking for a case that more or less matches the volume and shape of the Corsair one.

    The case is actually only hard to get in the U.S. Its available everywhere else really, got mine from Australia and I dont even live there. But yeah just got done building in it for the second time because it is NOT a fun case to build in for me. SO frustrating.

      @Nam Nguyen Yeah definitely not unattainable like any of the Louqe or Ncase m1 shit.
