You are all just amazing. You did not FAIL. At. All. One of my favorite quotes or something close to this....when life changes and throws you stuff, you adjust your sails. That's all. You didn't fail. John Lennon said...life happens when you are making plans. LOVE following you on your adventures. You carried me, a frontline healthcare worker in a pandemic, through a really tough year. Keep doing you. You have no idea how inspirational you are. We plan to be liveaboards once my hubby retires next year. Congrats to you and upcoming new baby and all of your courage and accomplishments with Nahoa. :)
I don't see any failure in you not crossing this season. Starting it out with Nahoa being left a shtty mess for ya, a major overhaul, getting a baby up to mobile, making another baby with all those inherent issues. Oh, let's not forget Covid making everything just that much more difficult to get anything or do anything. Right? And this whole time .you're both making content, editing that content and getting it out there to us. You've had us on the edge of our seats, laughing with you, crying with you, breathing through it with you and pulling our hair out with you. If anyone is in a snit bc you didn't make it across the Indian Ocean this season, we'd all personally like to smack 'em upside the head. You feel like family... our crazy cousins that we love dearly, and these are your video letters home to us. I'd call that a complete success.
what a beautiful video and its all about perspective, go get that baby delivered safely and enjoy every min and thank goodness you are taking 7 months off because when we get our boat maybe we can catch up to you guys, we love your energy and realness...... cant wait for the next adventure sending good vibes from our family to your family
There is no metric for what you have been doing as a couple and as a family. There is something that sailing demands of us. What we measure has to change, weather windows, maintenance and repair surprises. Your journey is awesome thank you for sharing it. Blessings. Fair winds.
You two are awesome and definitely doing an amazing job raising Willa. No doubt baby #2 and Willa will continue to thrive and grow up to be awesome, smart, independent, loving human beings. Can’t wait to see your episodes from Canada♥️
Leave some anti pest pellet on the boat… n bundle up screwpine leaves.. when you come back boat will be free from pest n smell nice from screwpine aroma… i live in Malaysia n we do that when we leave our homes locked up for months… safe trip home n staysafe… luv to @ willa.. 😍😍😍next trip here @ Willa will be a big sister n the real adventure begins👌👌👌👍👍👍😊
This is where I admit I am motoring, cause the wind is always on our nose, to Refuge Cove for fuel and water while watching your latest video. Finally got cell reception after being in Prideaux Haven for a few days. This drives my husband crazy, watching sailing videos while we are out on our boat. I’m excited for your number 2! Best Wishes!
You need to believe that you are always right where you should be and going right where you’re headed. Life doesn’t always happen in the timeframe that we want, but it will happen in the timeframe we need. Cheers on a successful haul out and on the impending arrival of Baby 2️⃣
The 'helper' is springing up, I think she will be a tall girl. That footage of her at the helm of the dinghy is one of my most favourite images on the net. So cute
I believe that the prayer coming out of the loudspeakers was a prayer asking that it be the blocking and not the bulkhead that cracked. It seems that the boat builder should have permanent lifting points marked on the underside of the hull.
I needed the Churchill quote today. The underwater shot with sun beams shining through was breathtaking. Both of you are inspiring. This is only a detour, not a dead end. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Rock on Nahoa Crew! Sending much appreciation from Chicago Illinois!
Wow! I haven't watched these 2 since covid started, something made me think about them tonight as I lay in bed and I couldn't even remember the channels name until I searched my subscriptions! Always so adventurous and educational! God bless you and your 2 little one
Mine were 16 months to the day apart! It was crazy beyond and then surprise, number 3, all in car seats. They're all grown now and I'd do it all over again. Just enjoy each precious moment, it flies by.
Home is where your heart is. Leaving Nahoa regardless been temporarily, is tough. Nevertheless things happen for a reason. Have faith, all in due time.
A clay pot can be a cheap but effective prefilter for the watermaker, greatly reducing the organic loading. Wash it out or just dispose of it when it gets clogged.
I am with you guys, I stop at one child but this is the life you have to do it. I will see you at sea soon with your beautiful life, you are an inspiration.
Love you guys, you quickly became my favorite sailing channel last summer. Very relatable how you got started, working hard at careers and realizing there’s gotta be more to life than going to work and paying bills. Definitely inspiring me to see if I can do something similar in 10 years. Will miss your cruising videos this year. All the best from seattle!
It's better to aim and miss than never aim at all. Thanks for being so honest. Love watching you guys, thanks for sharing your life's journey. Kia kaha from NZ.
Wow I just re-watched this episode. I am headed to Phuket in a couple days. Here's to hoping the borders stay open for long enough for you guys to get back to your boat!!!
Home is home, whether it is on land or water. I have eight kids (yes 8) and believe me, you will always be scared and apprehensive of what is to come, but you did it once, you can do it again and you will be surprised how organized you'll get! Everything will center around the two little ones, but don't forget to take some Mom/Dad time when you can because you two deserve that time too! Happy Sailing and Land Sailing :-)
My wife and I are so proud for you! We never had kids. Been married 19 yrs. Just never had that longing for children. We have lots of nieces and one nephew so far. Some are great nieces. We love them all so much but glad they go home! Lol! You guys always seem to take everything in stride. I wish I were that laid back. So does my wife! We are actually hoping to go to The UK and cruise the canals by narrowboat. More our speed. If we were younger, we'd definitely be doing what you're doing! All the best to you guys! Can't wait to meet the newest member of the family! Tim and Tammie
💓wow. Your reality and ours is so diametrically different. And I love it. Because we live vicariously through you and it really helps us. It's crazy here on land, earth 🌎 Don't look too deep into it all when you go home. 💞🌿🇨🇦
You two make it so easy and videos interestingly that's I can re-watch any of your old videos and not get bored "that's your advantages " hope the baby is a healthy boy (a girl will be also fine ) 😉 so as always take care be safe. Stop worrying about content anything is fine. And proud of you representing us CANADIAN'S.
Hello from Siesta Key Florida If down this way stop in,we would love to meet you guys in person and will buy you dinner at one of are local restaurants. Have a safe trip home
I think it would be wise to add a crew member for the crossing of the Indian Ocean.it seems to be a very unpredictable ocean.better safe than sorry.IMHO! Can’t wait to see your newest crew member(baby#2)
I can only imagine that it is all not fun and games. But I believe your children will be two very very lucky to grow up expeirencing the world and growing up away from all the drama in the world today. What they will get to see as they grow is priceless. Good luck with baby #2. Just started watching you about a month ago. Good luck and be safe
So agree with you that it is the right thing to do right now. What I predict is that these compromises will set your complete family. Willow will have a sibling (after adjustments hee hee) and the two of you are so strong. Enjoy land life and family. Hope you continue posting because I would truly miss you guys! 👍😘
I wouldn’t be so sure I can recall memories from when I was 2 & 3 they’re abit fuzzy but I still remember certain things & I am now in my mid to late 30s. You’ll be surprised, happy sailing
A little reminder for you remember to take a step back and look at how far you have come and congratulate yourself remember your doing amazing sending love from me and my followers
I’m not sure if the smaller Lagoons are having the same bulkhead problems as the 450’s but might be worth checking. Your comment about the main bulkhead not sounding right made me think of Parlay Revivals structural issues with their Lagoon.
Our hearts were racing as you were being pulled out! Seems like "cracked bulkheads" are on the forefront these days and that's the last thing we want you to have to deal with. Enjoy being home - hang in there this week during the HEAT WAVE this weekend!!
You guys have a beautiful little girl and your a great couple. I wish you the very best and will be out of contact for quite some time. Moving to where there are no services. I will check in next year. Take care and chow for now.
I love the way how both of you manage the reality. I love the relentlessness to live happy and accept the challenges of life. God bless you guys! By the way, I used to love watching you both but now I am always looking for the baby Willa in the video especially when she smiles and laugh.

Congratulations on your wonderful adventure and your 2 additions. Thank you for letting the rest of us come along.
Incredible comment Marcella. You may not believe it but comments like these hit home for us. Thank you.
Things are not looking good in Hong Kong, you may put that boat to good use.
@@normannabatar6260 What were you referring to when you were talking about Hong Kong?
Other sailing channels I subscribe to entertain me but your channel makes me feel something. Thanks
I love the tractor!! Its registration is from my County in Cork 🇮🇪 Ireland!!!! Obviously has been exported as a used tractor.

ditto!
Best of luck on your next chapter. Look forward to future vids.
I love that it is a1993 Cork registered Irish tractor towing the boat out in Thailand 👌
Well spotted
Haha i spotted that too. I'd love to know the story behind that tractor going from Cork to Thailand!
Thanks for showing.. It is always the process. You decide and never look back.
You guys are amazing. Your composure through this phase is really inspiring.

Both of my kids didn't walk until 15 months, and they have plenty of floor space. No worries.
Agreed 👍 All babies are different, no worries.
Learning to walk on a boat=superbabies!!

hectic time but you're up for it. Willa being the little light that kept you entertained and pushed back the dark times....love it.

Things happen for a reason. Africa is going through a tough time. A few months delay won't hurt in the big picture. Safe travels gang
What model lagoon is that I’d check the bulkheads before u going blasting thru the Indian ocean

That was nerve wracking! Glad the cracking was not the bulkhead! Wishing you all the best for the trip home and the birthing. :)❤️
We also plan to leave boat in Langkawi until October. Similar mood :(
As to bulkheads cracking, my first thought was, ‘better a 410 than a 450!’. Thanks for sharing your journey!
