When using a push stick on a table saw you should place it close to the blade not the fence as it will push it into the fence if it tries to twist. If you do it on the side by the fence you can push it into the saw blade away from the fence. Not trying to be a troll and knit picking, just trying to help people that might be watching as well as yourself. This is a pretty good Idea.
@@plywoodworking Trust me I do not make videos because I would b called out the first time I turned on a table saw with no upper or lower guard on my shopsmith. lol Hell me just using a shopsmith would piss most people off. Lol But it is never bad to encourage others not to take short cuts or make mistakes. Looks like both of us still have all our digits. If 40 years I have only grabbed the 3/4 router blade once while spinning in a 3/hp. The wood working gods was nice enough to let the pad of my finger and thumb to grow back . More than some can say. I will check your channel out a bit deeper.
A friend of mine has a bowling alley and a proshop and drills 100's of balls a year. His bits have a #2 morrest taper and are carbide. About 3k for a new set. SO I/ had him get me a diamond disk I am going to put in the shopsmith then I can set the table and miter to the right compound angle. I am going to weld two pieces of ange one in a V about 2 inches for a tray to hold the bit the other will be at a 90% to blot to the miter and then weld to the V track piece. This way the small bits with a larger taper the taper will be held off of the table and away from the miter gage. Then I should be able to advance the quill direct into the flat carbide at the right compound angle to clean them up perfect.
Very accurate for shapen the drill bits I love it .
Glad you like it
