Recent research published in the journal Nature Communications provides valuable information about the limits to wet-bulb temperature that both younger and older adults can tolerate for both survivability and livability.
The authors define "livability" as the ability to carry out normal every day tasks under varying conditions of temperature and humidity.
A physiological approach for assessing human survivability and liveability to heat in a changing climate. Jennifer Vanos, Gisel Guzman-Echavarria. Jane W. Baldwin, Coen Bongers, Kristie L. Ebi & Ollie Jay: Nature Communications 29 November 2023 www.nature.com...
One rather surprising result from the research of Vanos et al. is that under conditions of high air temperature and low relative humidity, the upper limits for survivability are significantly lower than previously thought owing to physiological constraints on the ability to remove heat by sweating while remaining safely hydrated.

Certain parts of the globe are going to see increasing numbers of climate refugees.
A good tip for reducing body temperature quickly is to completely wet your hair and submerge your feet, ankles and wrists in running water, because vascular blood transport is closer to the body's surface and can transfer heat more readily.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with your note about climate refugees, and your comment about body cooling is helpful. But, as I discuss in the video, the new research shows that especially for older adults that may not be enough to avoid heat injuries depending on temp and rel. humidity.

Yeah, just not enough body surface area and temperature gradient to radiate/convect that excess heat away, as well as too much humidity for sweat to evaporate.
I had heat stroke once and saying it's not nice is a massive understatement.
