I unironically gave you a like on the video because you said “I hope everybody has a wonderful day, the best day that they could possibly have” and it made me smile :) Awesome video the whole way through! ❤
You missed the Messmer’s Soldier Spear. Not flashy but absolutely one of the top 3 weapons in the DLC. Charged R2 is a double strike that will absolutely BATTER bosses. Has high stagger for a reasonably swift poke and you can pair it with ashes like impaling thrust or piercing fang to hit for massive damage and stagger from absolutely disgusting range making it incredible for punishing all the difficult bosses with their high movement and small punish windows.
You’re right I forgot about that double charged heavy lol I don’t think it’d make top 5 but it would’ve made this list at least. I’ll add it to a build list soon. Thanks!
For clarity, the Claws of Night ash of war doesn't proc multi-hit talismans. So if you run the build in the video, make sure to hit with the claws a few times to get the damage boost rolling before switching to the ash. If you only plan to use the ash of war and not mix in L1 attacks, run the Smithing Talisman and Ritual Sword Talisman instead. As far as your flask, the best damage boost is the Bloodsucking Tear at 20%, but the HP loss can be annoying, and you can't use it with Ritual Sword Talisman for obvious reasons. The next best damage boost is actually the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear at 6.7% due to the claws doing around 35% magic damage. In my testing with 75 dex, using the Dexterity Crystal Tear only boosted my ash of war DPS by 4%. Personally, when I run the claws vs bosses, I use the Greenburst Crystal Tear for better stamina regen so I can spam the ash and still dodge, and then either Bloodsucking, Thorny, or Magic-Shrouding depending on if I can handle the HP drain / will be using the claws to slash. If I'm fighting a boss in melee range I'll use the multi hit talismans, but if I plan to dodge backward and spam the ash I use the smithing talisman setup. Happy clawing
Nice! Correct it doesn’t proc multi hit, was just showcasing the ash. The multi hit talismans/tears are for DPS/regular attacks. It has one of (if not the) highest claw DPS in the game. Either way amazing weapon. 🤘

Despite me ranking Fireknight GS, Bloodfiends Arm and Sword lance at S tier and considering them the best in the game, there is just something about early game groundloot/easy pick up weapons that just clicks. Especially if they can carry you through an entire playthrough and have such diverse build possibilities, they're just so compelling and I love going back to them every now and then.

I don't think the devs expect people to cap at 125 or even 150. Pump up your endurance so can you keep dodging AND punishing him. For damage talismans try to stick with those that boost many types of attacks as his punish windows differ at the end of each combo, and deflecting tear is your friend. Radhan's rune is probably gonna be the most useful because you need both stamina and hp. I found going full defensive and just learning his combos and timings really helped. Stick to his right (your left side) foot. He's least likely to X slash here and I've found this position puts you in a good place to dodfe his other attacks. You can reliably dodge it by rolling to the left when his arm rises (his left arm, your right side).
