The Legend of Zelda is an action-adventure game franchise created by the Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. It is primarily developed and published by Nintendo.
The series centers on the various incarnations of Link, a courageous young man of the elf-like Hylian race, and Princess Zelda, a magical princess within the bloodline of the goddess Hylia, as they fight to save the magical land of Hyrule from Ganon, an evil warlord turned demon king, who is the principal antagonist of the series. Ganon wishes to use the Triforce, a sacred relic left behind by the three goddesses that created Hyrule, to remake the world in his own dark image. When gathered together, the power of the Triforce can grant any wish its user desires; however, if someone with a heart that does not possess a balance of the three virtues of Power, Courage, and Wisdom attempts to touch the Triforce, it will split into three triangles and bond with three people whose hearts embody the required virtue.
Although their personalities and backstory differ from game to game, the incarnations of Link and Zelda often have many traits in common, such as Link often being left-handed and clad in green, and Zelda being associated with wisdom, light, and prophecy. While the conflict with Ganon serves as a backbone for the series, some games have featured other settings and antagonists, with Link traveling or being sent to these other lands in their time of need.
Since the original Legend of Zelda was released in 1986, the series has expanded to include 20 entries on all of Nintendo's major game consoles, as well as a number of spin-offs. An American animated TV series based on the games aired in 1989 and individual manga adaptations commissioned by Nintendo have been produced in Japan since 1997. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's most successful franchises; several of its entries are considered among the greatest video games of all time.
Elden Ring[b] is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding provided by American fantasy writer George R. R. Martin. It was published for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25 in Japan by FromSoftware and internationally by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Set in the Lands Between, players control a customizable player character on a quest to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord.
Elden Ring is presented through a third-person perspective with players freely roaming its open world. The six main areas can be traversed using the player character's steed Torrent. Linear, hidden dungeons can be explored to find useful items. Players can use several types of weapons and magic spells, including non-direct engagement enabled by stealth mechanics. Throughout the game's world, checkpoints enable fast travel and allow players to improve their attributes using an in-game currency called runes. Elden Ring features an online multiplayer mode in which players join through cooperative play to fight bosses or engage in player versus player combat.
FromSoftware wanted to create an open-world game based on Dark Souls. Miyazaki admired Martin's previous work and hoped that his contributions would produce a more accessible narrative than those of the company's earlier games. Martin was given unrestricted freedom to design the backstory, while Miyazaki was lead writer for the in-game narrative. However, the game's narrative is still presented through flavor text, dialogue, visual narrative, and players' interpretations. The developers concentrated on environmental scale, stat management, and the story; the scale required the construction of several structures around its world.
Elden Ring won several Game of the Year awards and has been cited as one of the greatest games of all time, with praise directed towards its open world, gameplay systems, and setting despite criticism for its technical performance. It sold 25 million copies, also making it one of the best-selling games of all time. The downloadable content (DLC) Shadow of the Erdtree follows the player character in the Land of Shadow. It was released in June 2024 to similar acclaim and sold over five million copies.

Hero of the Skies, Hero of time and Hero of twilight are the ones who are the most experience and equipped to handle Elden Ring

ALTTP Link was in 4 separate games, and defeated Ganon with the *full* Triforce. He's on a completely different level compared to every other Link in-lore.
Hero of Botw/totk even has experience prior to his games and really impressive strength given his climbing ability.

Maliketh and Midra would be by far the toughest opponents given Destined Death and Frenzied Flame can permanently destroy the Soul, however a combination of high levels of Soul hax resistance and higher levels of Acausality can negate both as we see with the Tarnished of No Renown in Elden Ring.

Link unlike the Tarnished, is already super human. Add in the runes, and loot that Link will pick up along the way and prepare for a new eldin lord within a short period of time.

…I can’t believe I that this video has been made and uploaded when just yesterday, I talked with a friend about the Hero of Time in Elden Ring.
But I got to say, oh my god! I already felt like Link could match up to the Elden Lord tier characters with just his items from the Hero of Time’s games, but it’s still a shock to see him likely being able to beat these tier of characters on his first try without the Land Between’s revivals when you die.
If Link goes through the entire adventure from beginning to end, just like the Tarnished had (minus all the deaths unless he has an abundance of fairies and Mipha’s Grace). Link’s gonna dominate the Elden Ring, since adaptation is literally a part of the foundation of his character.
25:59-26:53 Sheik did say that the Shadow Temple’s a place infinite darkness that absorbs even time.

Radahn attacks, link dodges and can flurry rush Radahn with no problem. Rinse and repeat, with a few Revali's gale to get out of his attacks and bombard him with arrows from above, Radahn is dead.

He would definitely beat Elden ring but he wouldn't exactly thrive. The combat and speed in Elden is far more fast and dangerous compared to what Link deals with but with his skill set he definitely got this
I feel like if you use the Triforce as an argument for it being the origin of order which represents the power of like itself, you should also consider the Elden Ring it's kind of the same thing for the Elden Ring universe, with beings like the Greater Will being the literal Elden Ring, Radagon and Marika being basically the Gods possessing it, with Miquella ascending to Godhood and creating a new order that encompasses all by removing the power of the Elden Ring, and that power using it to aid Radahn at the end of the DLC

The ramblings of an absolute madman. In Lon Lon Ranch Talon is noted as being late for work and is found sleeping inside the Hyrule Castle Grounds. If time stands still inside the ranch, Talon cannot be late for anything, since being "late" means there's a scheduled time when Talon is expected to arrive, but time is standing still so Talon should arrive the instant after he leaves.
He can be late relative to the customers he needs to sell to. The rest of Hyrule has time and schedule even if Lon Lon stays still.
I don't think we should take the limitations/game mechanics of a console with limited power into consideration for something like this. Time doesn't stand still in Lon Lon ranch, it does however stand still in the Sacred Realm. Just use that.

I think a few bits of scaling on both sides may have been skewed a bit but overall, I have no doubt Link is easily a contender for elden lord regardless of how high or low he scales in the relevant games even if you limited his kit.
The Hero of Legend literally beat a Ganon with the full triforce. He is far in a way the strongest.
It was in another room. Not amping him. ALttP Ganon couldn’t overpower the seal of the Maiden’s, who are verbatim weaker than the OoT Sages. He’s also stated = to Zelda 1 Ganon who has 0 Triforce pieces, proving that he wasn’t actually amped in ALttP. Glazing ALttP is based on myth.

We know the triforce amps its beholder. Even if it’s not a detail considered at the time of making LTTP, it’s something we consider in hindsight given the direction of the series.
brother... LTTP Ganon is literally OOT Ganon after he won. Possessing the full triforce alone is proof of that. He was then sealed into the sacred realm by the sages, to which he corrupted into the dark world. Worst case, we can assume he wished himself stronger, which already upscales himself. He is categorically stronger beyond any reasonable doubt. Tell me, how in any reasonable case would he get WEAKER after beating the Hero of Time and then receiving the strongest artefact in the verse, presumably granting his wish?
Ganondorf in OOT was sealed still possessing the triforce of power (as later shown in TP). It goes to show that the triforce isn’t omnipotent. However possessing all 3 is evidently is superior. Also the Ganon in Zelda 1 is not the same as the one in LTTP, and most definitely not as strong. Put 2 and 2 together buddy. He was resurrected as a weaker mindless monster in the oracle games. The natural pipeline suggests that they are incomparable characters given that entry in between both titles.
Denying LTTP is borderline foolishness and arrogance. There is no argument here. Hero of Legend defeating a STRONGER Ganon to the Ganondorf the Hero of Time fought, is proof he is the strongest. TOTK Link is stronger than OOT Link as well.

Okay so, Can somebody specify whether the dimensions that had the goddeses's power leak into them are actually universe sized and not planet sized?
Because if the goddesses concentrated their power into making a single universe, It doesn't make sense if the "leak" ended up creating equally sized universes despite being a smaller amount.
And also the statement that the goddesses created millions of universes...... Aren't there like, 4 parallel universes to the main one?

Loved the video, but admittedly I am a bit confused, as I am not sure what tier was actually given for Elden Ring's final DLC boss. Y'all talked about concepts and things of that nature, but I am not sure where you corilated that to power beyond hundreds to millions of universes. I understand concepts are powerful, but I guess I may have missed how ER scales higher than Universal, but that could be simply because typical VS jargan wasn't used in the later sections, at least where ER was concerned.

The point of the games being different difficulty in mind, would link be able to flurry rush? flurry rush makes every attack incredibly counterable and stops it in its tracks while he swings at them several times while time is slowed. Could also parry all of radahn's big AOE's similar to lynel's big fire AOE. The difficulty of Zelda is easier BECAUSE link is strong.
Radahn nukes the entire arena, and per the lore he’s roughly as fast and strong as Link. A Lynel is not comparable.

Video was good, but the chain scaling at the end sucked ass. “God” is a synonymous term and status that’s been used for the fire giant, so the blue swordsman who “defeated” an outer god in an ambiguous and likely unconventional way (since we know Marika literally killed the Fell God and he only manifests in the last fire giant) being above the Elden beast just doesn’t make any sense in the lore. Especially, since Malenia by status isn’t even considered to be a full god until her third and final bloom (she has only had two so far). By multiple sources it’s stated that Radahn and Malenia were locked horns until she used the scarlet rot. Whether or not Radahn was “holding back” is just completely head canon. Consort radahn is amped by divine satanic blood magic and then Miquella’s god lvl magic + was practically created by the resurrection ritual to be comparable to that of pre Elden lord Godfrey, so he can symbolize the strength for Miquella’s age of compassion (the only way radahn can even be god tier in the scaling chain). Then ofc the strongest demigod argument for radahn and that being the reason of being stronger than Godfrey is looked at too literally, since Godfrey being referred as a demigod has a different connotation compared to marika’s offspring. Last thing is that the Elden Ring itself can potentially have multi galaxy lvl scaling which narratively makes sense, seeing how a status such as Elden lord is vastly greater than just the mere demigod or god lvl status.
I admit, I was kinda interested until I heard scaling terms.
