It’s true that the ends have nothing to do with growth and trims aren’t necessary unless there’s a lot of damage. However, the health of the ends will keep them in tact and if you are diligent, they will not break, causing loss of length.

I’m a Puerto Rican with a mixed background. My moms an Afro-Puerto Rican and my dad is an indigenous and European Puerto Rican. I was born with pin straight black hair. But as puberty started my moms genes kicked in and my hair got super curly then as I went into adulthood it went wavy/curly. So I have multiple textured hair. I really didn’t know what to do with it AT ALL. Since the rest of my siblings have my moms 4a hair. I had no one to really teach me lol. It was almost to my waist. Unfortunately due to my frustration I cut it all off. But after seeing this video I’ve decided to grow it back out! I’m excited for the journey ☺️.

Nice! Thanks Tabitha! ❤️. I am trying to grow out my hair now that most of my bald spots are filled in. I have been doing a DIY scalp oil treatment with rosemary and peppermint oil, diluted in jojoba and olive oil. It has worked, but I really want to try the rosemary scalp treatment that you mentioned, as well as that one that you can leave on! When I get $ (my famous saying 🤣). Your hair has grown so long, and fast!!! You and your hair look incredibly beautiful as always ❤️! I'm going to save the video so I can shop through your links when I'm ready 😁. Have a great day 😀!

My scalp has become reliant on the innate life products. I haven't noticed extreme hair growth but I have noticed when I dont use one of the Innate life scalp treatments, my scalp gets tremendously itchy throughout the week. I usually alternate between the rosemary and problematic scalp treatment.
Also I find applying a few drops to my fingertips and then to my scalp rather than just pouring straight from the dropper directly to my scalp makes the oil last a lot longer because I find I don't have to use too much.

I mix a few drops of rosemary essential oil with coconut oil, put that on my scalp and thru my hair, then wear it overnight. Much more affordable then a branded product.

The initisol in rice water mimics a protein so it helps to strengthen the hair. I've used rice water rinses for roughly 2 years and have had tremendous success with it, growing roughly 6-8 inches in about 3-4 months. I use 1 cup of rice to 7 qts of water, leave it room temperature to soak for 2 days (3 days it smells horrendous), drain and then rinse over a bowl. It's ABSOLUTELY mandatory to use a deep conditioner afterwards. So I typically wash, then use the rice water rinse, wash again and then deep condition.

Inches or centimeters? 😅 It's physically not possible for hair go grow out 17cm (7inches) in 3 months

@@stefaniemorgan8231 in 2 years? My hair grows so slowly i feel like 😔

    • @stefaniemorgan8231
      @stefaniemorgan8231 Год назад

@@farewell6997 I was blown away by the length increase because I wasn't doing anything else differently, but I have photos from Snapchat documenting the growth. Lately, I had my hair highlighted much more and it's quite damaged so I have been replacing the rinse with bond builders and haven't seen as much growth. Growing hair can be so frustrating when you want it long now. The truth is, your focus should primarily be on hair health. It will grow as you take care of it❤️ Rice rinses aren't a magical potion, but they can help. With that being said, I have other curly haired friends who said their hair hated it (it will feel terrible after washing it out, but should feel much better after a protein free deep conditioner. I use Ecoslay Banana Cream and it has been the best for my hair) even after they deep conditioned. I hope this helps!

@@stefaniemorgan8231 that's amazing. You can never know with hair. I had a major hair loss just last summer. I've never had so much hair fall out. No matter what I did it kept falling out. Now it's starting to grow out nicely thankfully. I'm still unsure about the rice rinse though. It's a tedious process I feel like.

A good dupe for the rosemary oil would be the kreyol essence rosemary mint castor oil at ulta $20

Or could you take some pictures of the front and back of your hair in really good lighting so that I can see the layers? Our hair is very similar. Mine is long but current have a blunt cut and I think some layers would help but I'd love to be able to show the stylist the length, density, and quantity of layers that I'm looking for.

My own hair growth journey I followed the following regimen below and helped regrew a lot of lost hair in 2 months:
    1. Fragrance free shampoo: any kind like baby shampoo or paraben free shampoo.
    2. Taoist soap for hair growth 2x a week. Lasts very long. Stimulates hair growth and stops further hair loss, especially for women.
    3. Scalp Massage 30 minutes everyday. Underrated exercise. Don't ignore. Scalp easily gets blocked and poor circulation after age 25.
    4. Collagen powder 2x a day. It will change not only your hair but skin will become even more beautiful.
    5. Nettle leaf tea 2x a day: this was given to me by my oriental doctor, who said it will detox my liver from hormone residue which helps support healthy hair growth directly.
Honestly this system worked for me, my brother who was balding at an early age, and also some of his friends who trusted us to try this. Our family is kind of known as hair doctors altho we aren't doctors hehe. Hope this helps.

Trimming your ends/getting rid of and preventing split ends that split all the way up doesn’t aid growth but it does help with retaining hair length….

Hair grows every month. You don t need special treatment. Only what you eat is important for skin, hair, nails. There is no magical treatment to accelerate growth. Nothing.
