I love these. I always cut my bars into 3 for little hand/guest soaps. Really easy for the littles to wash with smaller bars. Thank you for sharing everyday! ❤️ I’ve been making soap for a little while and hiding but I am ready to sell!!
I'm not a soaper by trade, I'm actually a seamstress, but I offer laundry stain sticks to accompany my product line and regularly use those little half ounce blue molds to make sample sticks to include in orders. I've had hundreds of customers come back and buy the full size sticks over the years because they loved the formula / scent in the sample! Completely worth it, especially because it's so easy to just make a double batch of batter instead of a single when restocking and then I'm set on both full size sticks and samples for weeks 💙💙
We did discuss before that I have a mold addiction and was told to STOP buying all the molds.... and now you just gave me permission lol Also I got my box today!!! Super excited about that! And not to hurt your feelings, but I'd have to say my FAVORITE thing in the box was the card from the kidlet!! Tell her I said thank you and it's on my fridge!!
That's such a good idea! I could see expanding your customer base incorporating "sample sets" into your inventory - at least at the start of your business, or when doing a "test run" of a new offering.
AMAZING idea!!! I have struggled with how I was going to do sample packs, but have wanted to do them since day one! Thank you so much for this idea. I truly appreciate it!
Love this idea. I'm just getting started with this whole process. Made several soaps and my family has taken every single bar. Lol. Think I may be close to being ready to stick my toe into the selling pond. 😊
I just love the littles! One day, I’m going to gather up my mini perfume samples and send you a pic. I have large bottles but I love the sample sizes. That mold is adorable!
These are cute! And good advice on the recommendation to do sample packs. *filed away for the future* That said... part of me cringes at the individual cavity molds. I tried one once early on and cleaning it ended up being a nightmare! I've seen a specialized multibar cutter on Etsy that is designed for sample / hospitality clients. I think the cuts were a quarter inch thick? Thoughts on that? Would it be a worthwhile tool for those of us with individual cavity mold phobia? =P
How do you make so many type of labels? Do you print them, yourself? Or you have a 3d printing provider?also I have no idea how to pack soaps, bath melts, gift sets, where to find boxes for a reasonable price?
I design all of my labels through Canva and print them out on my laser printer. As far as 3D stuff, I do have a 3D printer but usually go to people like Chef for custom mold designs.
So, I do not make soap, I do not make anything, well except my cute kids. 😉 But I enjoy watching your channel and have learned a lot. But mostly it just makes me want to buy some. With these cute guest 🧼 soaps. Would you be able to make a cute teachers gift set? Sell them around Thanksgiving for Christmas presents or in April for end of the year gifts. Just an idea that would be fun for us that are always looking for cute gift ideas. Again Mrs Soap&clay love your channel and creativity. and Soapprentice love your collection especially the music one. Wish there was a guest soap of that one.
Love the idea , I offer samplers , but they are mostly half bars. Love, love this idea thank you so much. Were you able to find the link to the 📦, they are perfect for my line , I do everything craft paper color mostly Thank you again
Hey! I did find them! Looks like papermart is having a sale on eco packaging right now as well, which is just an awesome bonus. www.papermart.com/p/kraft-covered-setup-mailing-boxes/1104?SearchItemNumber=055040
When I had a stand at my county fair, I gave every paying customer a sample of another soap. They seemed pleased with that and I guess I will keep doing it.
I got my lovely box of Goodies and re-sent yours as it was returned to me. But I sent it this time to the return address from the package. My son has confiscated the carrot cake bar and the husband literally sniffed and stole the huckleberry (blackberry). They better stay away from my strawberry! Yours should be there by Tues evening.
Seriously I love these molds. I may make tiny soaps exclusively for a while. 😂
How long do you let these cure for since they are smaller, still 4-6 weeks?
@@dandibe3573 hey! Soaps cure until they stop losing weight, regardless of size. These ones took about two weeks.
It's a great idea. I love it. I like the idea of using extra batter for the molds or even just making sure I have extra batter for the molds.

Oh man. I was not expecting that card in mine and it's super adorable. Totally have it saved.

I've been thinking about doing this. I've finally made a batch of soap bigger than 5lbs. A whole 15lb slab. Haha 😄 so now it's time to do a tiny batch

I think we as humans just love tiny things, no matter the thing. 😂
Love the idea of mini sample sets!!!
Super cute and excellent idea!!!!! Great Job!!!!!
I use a mold shaped like gems 💎 for my extra batter too!
Thanks for linking to the mold sets. Did you end up using both sets of molds that you linked to--the blue and the pink ones?
Hey! Sure did!
I love the boxes!!! Super cute sample sets.

That sounds awesome!
Thank you for the video. I agree I prefer things to be in even numbers too.
Great ideas! Thank you.
Feel like to sniff the screen to get the scent of these😅. Look very cute!
Could you please do a video about how you mark up the price for your products?
I love this thank you so much for sharing!!

I tried the strawberry one this morning. WOW! Smells amazing and the bubbles. I am in love. Rinses so clean without drying. It's a winner 🏆
Those are too cute. I might just get some
