So far I’m just going out at night and collecting them - but they still nibble 🥲
Just two days ago I drilled holes in 12 buckets one by one; sam is really smart drilling them all at once 😂
I would have done the same thing - one by one 😂 he thinks smarter not harder !!
Be careful with those buckets they deteriorate in the sun very quickly. My tomatoes were eaten 😭😭 by slugs first time ever. Spares are the way 😅, great update have a fab weekend ahead, Ali 🌧️🌧️🇨🇦
Yes definitely not a permanent solution! Oh no!!!!! Surprisingly the toms seem to be the only thing they avoided in my home greenhouse 😂🧡

Re your sweet million tomato- if that should ever happen again, ( I hope not) then put the broken tip in a glass of water and it will grow roots and you can then replant it. Happy gardening 🙂

🤷🏼♂️ I have some that have done this, but only one extra shoot; wonder if the clove was a cluster of smaller ones when it was planted, but looked like one clove?
It’s very odd! The internet says they’re fine to eat but won’t store well - so not all is lost!

Why don't you put plant pots saucers under your tomatoes buckets to catch surplus water in. Great onions.

There are many big saucers, I use them on my large tomatoes pots. Thanks for the reply.
Your beetroot are doing amazing, mine were all eaten but i put a wire basket over the top of two and those two have not been eaten…slugs or birds?

🧄🤔 (looks like either RUclips has added emojis... or I somehow enabled it?) Those onions look great (I've sown my onion seeds but I don't think they have even come up yet... might have to sow some more). I think your tomato should be fine... I've heard people say you can plant the side shoots etc of them and they will grow on so I suspect they are quite hardy.
They tasted great too! I’ve not done onion from seed before but apparently sowing from seed helps to stop bolting! We’ve chucked it in a bucket and it’s not died yet! 😂🍅
