Today I explored Düsseldorf full tour from the Koenigallee ,alt stadt (old town) ,to the rhine wiesen And the famous boardwalk at the end I took a boat tour on the Rhine river with an amazing experience

Wow Duesseldorf is absolutely stunning. The statues, art, buildings, the history. The people look so content just sitting and just enjoying the sunshine drinking an adult beverage. Looks like heaven.
This kind of atmosphere is very common all over Europe, i missed this a lot when I visited. I feel like people in the US are stuck in their houses, or they HAVE to travel by car to go anywhere…

Düsseldorf is my hometown, I am born here and life my whole life here, yes, the city is outstandingly beautiful, the river Rhine, the downtown, all the areas you do not see in the video. Lots of people say its the most beautiful town in Germany. I say: YES IT IS 😊

Germany cares about its people‼️ Walmart was forced to pay the workers in Germany fairly or they couldn't come into Germany‼️I believe the workers have a Union dealing with Walmart Corporate. No Walmart Unions in the USA though‼️ Walmart crushes Unions in the USA ‼️
There is a whole lot less litter.

Los Angeles turned to crap over the years. Unless you are wealthy the quality of life is bad. Last time LA was great Melrose Place was on the air.

I lived in Germany for five years and I can honestly say there’s no better place to bring up a family, it’s clean, friendly and lots to do.

@@DonGivani I have many german neighbors in costa rica they will tell you other wise this is typical western sugar coating where you hide the poverty very well expecially in europe with the laws and all the free help but i was in germany 2000 2001 in the east part you know chemnitz freiburg not bavaria for sure and it can be very pretty ideal place but no place is perfect my wife never wants to go back we prefer the third world banana republic of costa rica the humility that alone is already worth it here....
Also remember what led to ww 1 2 german poverty because germany was not always rich everything in life goes in cycles at some point some are richer than others but this always changes...
I lived on Düsseldorfer Allee in the 70’s and 80’s…..loved Germany and the people……the Altstadt was fabulous……the Shopping on the Koenigs Allee was and is world beating……🇬🇧……much love.
The wife and I did a 7 day Viking Cruise from Switzerland to Amsterdam along the Rhine in 2017. It was amazing!!!!!! 1000KM.

I live 30 miles from DUS and I"m tempted to actually go there for something other than the airport.

I'm always excited to watch the most famous German in Venice.... In Germany. You're a good guy. My family comes from Germany. It's always nice to see where my grandfather lived.
I was in Germany in 2019 and was amazed at the country side ...very beautiful there and the people was very friendly

Well only "light" alcohol with 16 like beer and wine. The hard stuff like whiskey just with 18+

What a nice place, astonishing, no shootings, no looters, no melees, just a harmonious place, that you can bring all your family with you, without any inconvenience. As always, you are the best you tuber so far, it's good to know that you don't have any competition, they can't compete against you.
Hey, Dusseldorf is surely an interesting place but it is the only city where my bicycle was stolen, which was not the city where my heart was stolen but that's another story. Schoenen Tag noch.
Ahh, this video only shows glimpses. There are no shootings but rather stabbings. I live near Duesseldorf and it got quite dangerous in the recent years. That sign at 19:30 doesn't hang there for no reason. In the Altstadt (old town) you got a lot of stabbings in the recent months. At least 3 guys died. Groups of aggressive young men are walking around in the evenings there searching for trouble. There is police everywhere now. Back then almost none but now police cars and these "no weapons allowed" signs everywhere in that area. It wasn't like that like 10 years ago. When I went there the last few times I was shocked. I'm not going there anymore. I wouldn't recommend the Altstadt now in the evenings. Extremely crowded and aggressive groups walking around. I liked Duesseldorf 10 years ago but now it's a mess in my opinion. Chaotic, loud, dangerous and dirty. Back then you could walk in the night and no one harassed you and no E-Scooters almost run you over. Same goes for Cologne. Most big cities in Germany turned into a mess the last couple of years. Definitely no heaven! There are smaller cities or towns and villages who are still heavenly in Germany but most big cities... Not anymore. It's like in his video about his hometown Krefeld dying. That's how most big cities and downtowns look like or will turn out here. I might as well either move to a small town or village or move away from Germany.

I came across your channel while shutting down for the night at a truck stop and loved your content my wife is Hungarian and we've taken lots of trips to Germany and she's shown me some great places over there and the one thing that I realized was how clean, how polite and how orderly everything seemed I'm from Southwest Philadelphia the jungle! LOL and I can tell you the reason you don't see any homeless is because of the German culture a lot of Europeans in my experience still have fear and shame which is something Americans lost about 25 years ago fear and shame are healthy you should fear doing bad things and you should feel shame when you do them I know I've done a lot of bad things! But now as I'm getting older I do experience fear and shame and I think it's made me a better person! I don't act out anymore and I don't break the law as much as I used too, and I don't blame everybody else for my shortcomings! And I believe the German people live this way and that's why they don't have to suffer with homelessness. FEAR AND SHAME!
Well, I am from Düsseldorf, and there are a lot of homeless people. You were able to see some of them in the video, but there are more. I Can't compare it to Philadelphia, I know about San Francisco that it is a huge problem there. I like Düsseldorf, unfortunately most of the old struktures has been bombed during WW II, like in every town in Germany, but there are still nice quarters. I hope they will change the city more towards a car-free zone; this would increase happiness a lot.😉
Ayyy, I'm living in Düsseldorf, it's a very nice city. Also this year we finally will have the 'Japan day' back at Saturday after 2 years of absence because of the pandemic.

You should go. A flight ticket might be expensive, but Germany itself is not, it's actually very affordable, even compared to other EU countries.

I was navy and took a river boat ride from obervessel. It was the best. The boat ride finished and the snow started to fall late afternoon. My wife and I went to the local restaurant. Family portraits were on the wall. Hand painted. No one spoke English but the Chef. He served us good German dinner. Get video of a castle
Went to Dusseldorf in 1981 to see Pink Floyd do The Wall. The concert was in Dortmund. Best time ever! Happy you are home with mom🌹

Mike, I noticed there are not many over weight people like in the states. I live in Arkansas and being over weight is common. I haven't eaten German food for a very long time. The food must be fresh with not much salt. Do many people smoke there? I only saw one person in your video smoking. I think not smoking is wunderbar. I loved this video. People getting out and dressed nicely enjoying the weather. Very uplifting. I loved the train and the boat ride. Please give my best to your Mutter! Food standards in the EU are much stricter than in the US. Also, localöy produced food is easily available and cheap, And lastly, people walk a lot or use bicycles. Greets from Germany.

When I checked the map, you are not too far from Friedhof Kaarst where is buried my lost uncle Herbert Brecka at field " C " burial place # 52-53. If you by any chance stray in that place, I would very much appreciate to have one or two photos taken of that grave. I'm an old guy and never will be able to visit that place. C'est la vie.

Come to the UK ,the place is awash with them.
There are channels about urban planning. American cities reached a failed critical point, because they have been build car centric, whereas European or even Asian cities are human scaled and offer mulltiple ways of transportation. Changing this itself, would already make US cities cleaner in terms of smog and clearing up constant traffic jams.
And yes, there are homeless people and drug addicts. Just not as many as in the US.

I lived in Neuss the old city across the river for two years. I used to love cycling to Duesseldorf from Neuss and Meerbusch going along the Rhein river on the levee. That was ten tears ago and there seem to be a lot more people now. A lovely place to live, clean, good food and friendly fun loving people.
I always thought Germany had many overcast and rainy days, but to my surprise they get a lot of nice sunny weather.

The video was recorded on a Saturday or Sunday I think, can't imagine it being that crowded in Dusseldorf on a normal weekday! Looks like a positive vibe there.

My Great Grandmother immigrated with her Father from Holstein Germany in early 1900's. Germany looks beautiful. I like listening to Corvus Corax. If you ever see Castus Liehm in Berlin say hi for me bitte.
Wow! I'm loving this. It's bringing back a flood of great memories of when I was stationed in Darmstadt, Hanau, and Babenhausen from 1985 until 1987, and Garelstdet from 1990 until 1992. I used to love to take the train to the movies at the Frankfurt airport. I was stunned when I discovered they sold BEER at McDonald's! 👀😲 And don't get me started on the "pomme frites" and Currywurst 😋 And OMG... the shopping! It was the first time I had seen a mercedes taxi and garbage truck!!! Well, I could go on and on about my time spent in Germany, but I won't bore you 😁. Anyway, thank you for helping me relive a little bit of my youth. Those were great times! 🤗💯✌🏽

@@jackkruese4258 Look at how healthy most Germans are compared to most Americans. They eat better and drink more water, also they walk more as well. Germans are stereotyped for eating sausage and drinking beer but they dont consume either to excess.

your small series of Germany is both excellent and enjoyable. i used to live in Gelnhausen (Barbarossastadt), about 60km east of Frankfurt Am Main. i was able to see West Germany become the unified Germany of today.
