I grew up going to his Agape Church, and while I don't go anymore (too far from my home), I have to say Reverend Beckwith's words always helped me find peace, harmony + love in my life. And Rickie Byars is one of the most BEAUTIFUL singers I've ever heard in my life. They're so gorgeous.

What Christians do not understand is that Jesus was trying to point people into this type of spirituality. Many listen but do not hear. Many see but do not understand. This teaching of the churches on the most part teach on the surface and many miss the spirituality. They are blinded by religion. I was once blind but now I see.
I can relate to this so well. For me, the glue or tether to the religion is fear, rooted in misunderstanding. When I was first exposed to New Thought- which is really ancient- I felt scared, and then I felt relief and joy. I’m so grateful for spirits like them. They’ve made the process of enlightening beautiful and fun!

@ThePowerWithinMe You really know the truth, iam really impressed. I was brought up in a christian family and church, but when i began understanding this truth, It did blow my mind.
it's also great to have the laughter here...spirituality necessitates joy... too often, people are too serious...lightness and joy...humor, these are so essential.

from reading the few comments below i can understand how so many would fear what they don't understand or have never heard before. Here you have two people trying to define something that shouldn't be defined but we as humans, society, or whatever have given it a definition. They are speaking about a connection we all share there for they are looking for you to come to them as in a cult they are learning to connect to all as in what most would understand god as having us do.

The soul is simply everything we have with the eyes, brain, hands, feet, arms and legs are its tools as it mechanics ariound this world in this tool that has evolved over time and the previous souls before us had a different experiendce then the souls of now. You catch my drift? Crazy of me right?

there was a show produced by Ice Cube call black and white. they dressed up a white family and made them appear black. they tried to do the same with a black fam but they really didn't look white. they could pass for maybe Perto Rican though. Micheal could have pulled it off 100%

What does the soul do when people get Alzheimers? I never understand how these people answer questions like that. Consciousness seems so fluid, temporary, and easily influenced by external. Moment to moment we die and are reborn. The person I was when I started writing this post is now dead.

Do the research and you will see that Michael Beckwith's religion is like Scientology. This video should be used as a training guide for those who do claim to know the answers and yet stumble on a question. That laugh bothers me.
