The Secret is so true. I have no doubt in my mind that this philosophy works when it's put into practice. As long as you just keep a positive mindset, and filter out negative thoughts bombarding you from the outside world, your life will change. Everyone has the power. your problems are meant to happen because you created them before you came on the earth plane. they are there to grow you spiritually so that you are more godlike when you return home.
tom hendry so would you say problems exists only relative to one's self, meaning that perfection is achievable on earth? or that they exist independently of one's choice or will? it seems rather self contradicting for one to create his own problems to make him "better". it's like backtracking in some sense, just to get you back to where you started.

What you describe is not gratitude but a feeling of lack because you do not "have it". That is not what you want but it is a common mistake people make. You have to appreciate what is, and all you have now. People usually want "things' because they think it will make them happy but it is reverse, you have to feel happy and gracious and "things" manifest as a "side effect".

By being consumed by negativity, we fail to appreciate all the good that actively surrounds out. I did a degree in Ayurvedic medicine and learned that eg if we quickly say the alphabet we dont have to think about it because this knowledge is stored in the heart, it is said that mind travels back and forth between brain and heart so we can literaly think with our hearts.

As I've started to live the secret - it's funny that my focus was on trying to obtain material things. My focus seems to have shifted on seeing the opportunities around me and embracing them when they feel good. It's not just about materialism - it's about service to others and feeling good about who you are and where you are. You can change and as you do, things around you begin to change.
I wish you all the best in the process of creating, my friend! Try not to resist the pure feeling of happiness, no matter why you have it. When you are feeling TRUE happiness, hold to it, live with it, tell to yourself "i am going to be this happy every day, BECAUSE IT FEELS DAMN GOOD!" As I've started to live the secret - it's funny that my focus was on trying to obtain material things. My focus seems to have shifted on seeing the opportunities around me and embracing them when they feel good. It's not just about materialism - it's about service to others and feeling good about who you are and where you are. You can change and as you do, things around you begin to change.

Try not to resist the pure feeling of happiness, no matter why you have it. When you are feeling TRUE happiness, hold to it, live with it, tell to yourself "i am going to be this happy every day, BECAUSE IT FEELS DAMN GOOD!"
